Thanks for all the good vibrations sent out on the Global Mix channel. I like, to varying degrees, everything played on the channel. Is there a way to get a comprehensive playlist or just a plain list of all the amazing tunes on it?

Wake up and go to sleep.
Beats Paul Simon by a mile, totally underrated!
Agree (belatedly) Neil.
The Irish in me tends to demand a full stop and listen whenever I hear Uillean pipes. And let me tell ya, the other drivers on the Beltline are pretty pissed about that.

Can't disagree enough. These guys are very talented. They capture two genres of music that are so different inherently from each other and manage to blend them to create something new but still retaining the original feel of African and Celtic influence.

Maybe... But we'll stick with (no lyrics available) for now

One of the few bands the RP has introduced me to that I wish they hadn't.
I'd forgotten that Davy Spillane played with them, but that opening uilleann piping could have been no-one else. Gorgeous stuff.

Sounds like the wonderful Mr. Weber on bass....

Pretty sure the female singer is Pina. Uploaded a couple of her songs but they were rejected. She's amazing with such a unique voice...perfect for RP. Originally from Austria---moved to Ireland and was discovered by Peter Gabriels "people". Wish the gang would reconsider adding her to the playlist.

Hey Bill, what happened to the uploads from AfroCelts 4th album, Seed? I don't see them in the RP song database. I know you used to play them, that is AfroCelts' best cd, would be great to hear from that one again.
They're listed under AfroCelts (not Afro Celt Sound System like this one) and get played fairly regularly.
AWEsome Music I'm just discovering thanks to this great Radio station with captain Bill at the helm.

Great CD. Go out and buy it. Its great music for any occasion.
I feel like I'm stuck in an elevator impatiently waiting for the doors to open.

I agree more Seed is needed.

Yay! - Bagpipes!
is this the violinist that plays with nick cave?
I'm not sure, but I think I like ALL their stuff. Time to buy. 8 right outta the barn.
is that... bagpipes? yeesh
SORRY.
The music is excellent, especially that spacy repeating sound... Very soothing
I liked the instrumental part way more than the vocals. The vocals bring my rating down a bit.
