You wanna know if I know why
I can't say that I do
Don't understand the you or I
Or how one becomes two
I just can't recall what started it off
Or how to begin again
I ain't here to break ya
Just see how far it will bend
Again and again, again and again

I wanna make it
I wanna make it wit' chu
Anytime, anywhere
I wanna make it
(Again and again)
I wanna make it wit' chu

Sometimes the same is different
But mostly it's the same
These mysteries of life...
That just ain't my thing
If I told you that I knew about the sun and the moon, I'd be untrue
The only thing I know for sure
Is what I won't do
Anytime, anywhere, and I said...

I wanna make it
(Again and again)
I wanna make it wit' chu
Anytime, anywhere
I wanna make it
(Again and again)
I wanna make it wit' chu
I wanna make it
(Anytime, anywhere)
I wanna make it wit' chu
Yeah
I wanna make it
I wanna make it wit' chu

I wanna make it
(Again and again)
I wanna make it wit' chu
I wanna make it
(Anytime, anywhere)
I wanna make it wit' chu
I wanna make it
(Again and again)
I wanna make it wit' chu
(Again and again, and again, and again)
I wanna make it

This lyric and vocal is SO Jim Morrison.
I'm gonna make it wit kimchi)
Odd how we like songs for weird reasons.  My wife and I once looked after a 6-year-old boy whenever his dad was "in the drinks."  For whatever reasons, he took a real liking to me and wanted to accompany me wherever I went.
Once, when I was heading to do some catch-up work at my school office, he asked to come with me.  I told him that I was just going to do some boring work and wouldn't be able to spend time playing with him.

His reply, "That's okay, I just wanna be witch you."  This song makes me smile every time I hear it.
QOTSA is one of those bands that I had unconsciously formed an idea about based on the band's name, only to be surprised by the reality literally every time I hear them.

Album title is priceless: Age of Vulgarity.

Not quite:

Era Vulgaris, pseudo-Latin for Common Era (in Latin this means Common Mistress)
In general, "vulgaris" means "common".
oh, his voice. love this! anytime, anywhere. again, and again, and again.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

I had Brass In Pocket, which is more likely and more desirable.

Was just thinking the same. I guess the kind of guy who writes a track called, "Make it wit chu" isn't going to let something like "consent" get in his way.
"Hmm, I've never heard this Stones track..."

This is one of the funniest comments section I've seen on RP!
Back to the 90's: Supermodel Carla Bruni       You Tube Vol.  Off Please while listening......
What a sexy track!

Can anyone explain the album cover? I've often wondered...

From the wikipedia:

We're making these mock commercials for the new record. Josh was talking about this kind of naïve point in time when TV and commercials kicked in with cartoon characters selling cigarettes and stuff like that. Like Fred Flintstone buying Camels

. So we decided to invent a character called Bulby to sell our new record.
Can anyone explain the album cover? I've often wondered...

Wit Chu. Not a bad song except this kills it. What could be a 7 is a 1.
Bless you/Gesundheit!
Nice.  Slinky.  Gets at least a 7 from rainy and cold Bristol today.
Love me some QOTSA,,, this was my wife and I wedding song.

Based on the learning about Mr. Chu from his Wiki page (gotta love Profession=professional protester) I bumped my rating from 7 to 8.  Freaking hilarious!

Hilarious.
It could be the advertising jingle for a new brand of tobacco: Witt Chew.

I hear that a bit; almost as if John Cale was hanging around with The Stones in the mid-'70s.
Thought it was John Cale for a minute.

Never heard this one - very cool. Thought it might have been Bowie singing for a minute...
{#Fever} Ah-Choo!
Absolutely brilliant!
Which reminds me - how come no new Bowie on RP yet?!

Just me or does he actually sound a bit like a more senior Bowie?!  Would have NEVER thought that possible...obviously not as good as Bowie but still...

A simple, direct and yet pithy lyric:  "I wanta make it wit chu."  Ah brevity, thy name art Genius.

Wow, I would have pegged this for Ron Sexsmith.

The first time I heard this song I thought they got Mick Jagger to sing backing vocals.  Not a bad song really, nice groove.

I rated this "1" and I stand by it.

Duly reported to Homeland Security just in case you ever might decide to use it for purposes of inflicting emotional harm on a TSA staffer.

I'm trying to resist putting in a phrase that we used to hear from an old beer-drinking bud every day. Oh, what the hell:  "Gitchoo chum!"  Glad that's out of the way. Good song.

Yeah, it's great...  but it sounds like the Stones in their sucky Emotional Rescue era are on backing vocals.

cool album anyway
Love this track — I didn't think much for the rest of the album (and that is some kooky cover art)...  Please keep playing this one though!  {#Tongue}

Awww Yeah!  Freaky song, freaky good.  {#Dance}
An excellent piece full of cadence and rythm and total vulnerability. Good driving song, too, imho.

Bill is really giving this number a spanking. Nevermind, I like it :)
Wit Chu?? Who is Chu??{#Sad}
I swore when I first saw the title, it said "Make it with Cthulu."
Two songs worthy of 1 rating in a row, guess it's time to fire up the turntable and play some vinyl for a while till this low patch gets through...

Yes, but just one, just one.

Does this ever end?
Love that little pick me up in the middle of this.
This band is kinda strange to me.
I like a lot of the songs I hear,
But then there are some that drive me nuts!

This one is pretty cool though.
