why does anyone want to listen to this?
The GO-GO recorded songs that were at least more lively, though  those suck as well.

Don't you just love it when people want to be soooo clever but then just out themselves as a total ass? Here we have someone who never had a single geography class.🙈🙉🙊
Radio Paradise is like a box of chocolates, Never know what you are going to get. I like what I got from the box.
This is a load of fun :-)
What a Masterpiece of Artistry.
None of you haters are welcome at my house parties!
Where's the Numa Numa kid when we need him.
Disco, disco........You dont mess with the Zohan!
I don’t like disco but this song got us up and dancing on Surigao!
I am from the Balkans and this piece of a regrettable musical misunderstanding made my ears bleed. The last thing I expected to hear on my favorite radio...
Well, apparently Bill likes to experiment and provoke his listeners from time to time, which basically is not a terrible idea. In short, not a biggie. :)

Polka? Hardly! This is Greek/Middle Eastern flavor.  That's what's great about music; there's all kinds , to appeal to all kinds of taste. This ain't yours, and that's ok....

As much as I agree with you, this is not Greek. Well, not entirely. This has a strong "Balkan" flavour - from Serbia to Romania. Influenced by gypsy music too. Greece is also Balkan country, but has slightly different flavour.
This one oddly bounces between a 1 and a 6 for me.
Did this song appear in Eurovision? Just needs some bagpipes.
If this isn't Godlike, it know don't what else is!
Worst song of the decade.

I like! Great beat....
The first melody on RP with Romanian lyrics.  There are many others...
Please look for Phoenix band.
Keep up the good work!
Sticks in ya head - not bad, but not worth enough to get a CD. But fun.

stupid beyond reason lyrics. (i'll try a translation for the romanian lyrics for you(thanks mariuuuus for the lyrics))

Zece, alege - ten, pick
Nu mai intelege - don't try to understand
Opt un tort - eight, a cake
Musica non stop

Cand te vad ma pierd cu firea - when i see you i loose my mind
Nu'mi pot stapani privirea - i cannot stop staring
Dansezi bine esti mortala - you dance well, you're dead drop gourgeous
Si cu frumusetea ta'i bagi pe toti in boala - and your look makes them go crazy
Orice barbat te doreste - all men want you
Cand te vede innebuneste - when they see you they go mad
Tiar da bani, tiar da orice tiar da si casa - they would give you all their money, even their house
Pentru tine sia lasat nevasta - for you they will leave their wife

Great fun! Of a group with those other bonkers balkanistas Gogol Bordello, and reminiscent of the much-missed (by me, at any rate) 3 Mustaphas 3. Any number that gets the feet tapping is a minimum 7 from the Nottingham jury, and the extra fun kitsch element is worth another point easy.
Enough. This is the song that doesn't end.
That still doesn't make it right though..................................

Wow.. this is terrible. I don't mean to sound narrow-minded or uncultured, but it's just a bad rhythm, bad melody, with some of the most obnoxious vocals and lyrics I've ever heard.
Enoug, enoug, please no more.

Once a week is more than enoug.

Balkan is full of interesting music, etno, rock, new wave, ... , great performers, but here we can listen just few of them, Dico Partyzani is not an etalon for Balkan Music.

no, nothing Scots here.

The lyrics are some in english, some in romanian. But they are a little ironic. Only the rhytm makes this song. Even the rhytm is a little ironic. But anyway, is original.

You're an idiot. Partizani has nothing to do with the "Nazi Parti" (wth is that?). Use a search engine before you get the urge to post something outlandish like that again.

If American Disco had had that groove, I might have gotten more involved (or involved). Shantel is kickin'.
I really enjoy this track, I don't understand you all of you hate it...
It's fun and different!  I like it too, Bill.
I did something real bad today and this is my punishment.
Sounds like a Balkan, " Cake," tribute band.

I dig this!

From Wikipedia:

Shantel, real name Stefan Hantel (born in Frankfurt January 1, 1968), is a German producer and DJ, known for his work with gypsy brass orchestras, DJing and remixing traditional Balkan music with electronic beats. He is a descendant of the refugee Bukovina Germans.

Shantel began his DJ career in Frankfurt, Germany, and was inspired by the audience reaction to gypsy brass bands such as Fanfare Ciocărlia and trumpeter Boban Marković to infuse electronically-tweaked Balkan gypsy music into his DJ set. He released two compilations of his popular DJ night, Bucovina Club, on his own Essay label, which won the Club Global award in the 2006 BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music. He was one of several DJs to remix recordings of Taraf de Haidouks and Kočani Orkestar on the Electric Gypsyland compilations from Belgium's Crammed Discs label, and released his next album on that label. He gained popularity in Turkey after recorded clip of 'Disko Partizani' in Istanbul.<1> Shantel's 2007 album Disko Partizani departed somewhat from the techno sound of Bucovina Club, concentrating more on the music's Balkan roots.<2>

I think Bill plays this just to get people riled up.  {#Dancingbanana_2} Go Bill!!
Is this like some kind of test to see if anyone is listening?

Yes we are listening and this absolutely sucks!

It's like I woke up in the middle of some kind of eurotrash nightmare.

Please make the noise go away!!

Is it safe?  Is it now over?  Can I turn the volume back up?
Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm digging it.  Especially the electric balalaika.
Jak sie masz? My name Borat. I like you. I like sex. Is nice!

I keep hearing this song on here. It must be Bill's wake up music. It certainly gets the toe a-tappin'.

Partizani.  Which I assume means something in a Balkan language.  This is even better than my mother thinking the TLC song went, "Don't go Jason Waterfalls."

My Gawd!

Sitting here updating my client Db and had to click over to see what this was since I suddenly had pictures of a gypsy dancer with a tambourine rock n rolling around a campfire with Lon Chaney in the background about to grow hair.
Oh, c'mon, kids, this is so silly it's fun!

{#Jump} {#Jump}
I would expect to hear this song on a Saturday Night Live "Digital Short" with Andy Samberg dancing around in a robe and sunglasses.

As a joke, maybe a 5. As real art, less than 1.

We have 1 thru 10 for rating.  Now that we have Disko Partizani, we need a 0 (zero)!!!  If 1 is sucko-barfo, 0 is hemorrhagic.

I like folk/techno mashups (e.g. Afro-Celt Sound System, Jah Wobble's "English Roots Music" album), so  this does it for me.
Reminds me a little of Oi Va Voi. I really like it!

Holy moses Bill!  Like most of the tunes you play but this has tipped me over the edge.  The musical embodiment of Hell!
Has anyone ever seen Coffee and Cigarettes?  Twitchy, uncomfortable, and often awkward.. This song for some reason reminded me of it.
He heard "Crabbuckit" and thought "Hey, I can do that!". Not sure if I like it or not, need to give it another listen in a few days.
