Having grown up in Britain I grew up with Status Quo through the 70s!  Wow, I feel old now and it has been such a long since I have heard them, I never would have remembered their name, even though I remembered the tune. 

Good to here them again.

I think it was supposed to sort of hurt.

Nice trip down memory land, although reading another commentators mention of "all the way back to grade school" reminds me that I was almost to high school by that point. I'm getting old.

Being around when this was "modern" rock, this was quite the popular song for us "heads".  Camper does a great version, but the original still has the flashbacks kicking in.  Thanks for digging this up.
