Pressure on our hollow bones and the varicose
Suddenly we decompose but we're not alone, we're home
So we all are growing old
Maybe we're sealed in silence
And maybe we feel a guidance
Maybe your own devices
Will keep you afraid and cold
But I memorized your smile lines when lips divide
Kept alive your childlike reaction time
We're allowed to expire with ourselves in mind
So we all are growing old
Put out the fear of silence
And put out the need for guidance
And put out your own devices
And don't be afraid of the cold
And we sing, we sing, we sing
We fight, we fight, we fight
And we cry, we cry, we cry
And we slide, we slide, we slide into delight
We sing, we fight, we cry
We slide, we slide, we slide into delight
Maybe we're sealed in silence
And maybe we feel a guidance
Maybe your own devices
Will keep you afraid and cold
Put out the fear of silence
And put out the need for guidance
Put out your own devices
Don't be afraid of the cold
Afraid of the cold, afraid over time
We've got nowhere to go but here
What happened? The tune started out hi fi and after about 20-30 seconds suddenly sounds like listening through a pillow. I'm listening on the flac stream. Anyone else get that?

I heard that, too. Thought I lost my internet connection for a few...
"Period", really? Ouch. Now you've gone to far.
Well, at least they didn't resort to using an tilde.
The band, or RP members?
c.
Both.
The last third has to be played loudddd.
LOVE this.
Great sound, but I've had my fill of this guy's voice.
Just think how he must feel!

Not the best video quality, but man, they put so much music into it, it's just fabulous
No non nein!
Needs to be cranked up for full appreciation
Indeed!
Satisfyingly bonkers in a Foo Fighters / Queens of the Stone Age percussively noise-some manner.
Bwahahahaha.....
And I memorized your smile lines when lips divide
But love the cover art - would go well in a Marriott hotel room.
Great sound, but I've had my fill of this guy's voice.
Sad but true. Just the breathy thing at the end of the line.
'Nuff said. Great sonic power.
Great sound, but I've had my fill of this guy's voice.
Oh, some people have a problem with his voice.....I love it. It has grown on me especially after I saw them live......dy-no-mite!!!

Well, i'm here trying to share with everyone a a small private history, and i hope do not come to regret: since some time ago, i walked trolling involuntarily, in my head, an extract of a melody of any song. So far so good. The problem that disturbed me - i recognize almost instantly any song ever heard, recently or remotely in the past - is that could not in any way identify this song. And for anything admit it. No way. And so it was for more than a week, nor going forward, not going back.
Several days later, occasional and random, i put the "run" a few songs, and to my surprise, appeared that tune. And the mystery was unraveled. A simple story.
Ah, the song is called "Dots and Dashes".
Ditto
Porcupine Tree? I think they don't sound a note like PT. Which, imho, is/was a far more sonically and conceptually exciting band.
Your Comment Is Getting Old.
Another RP comment that's more entertaining than the tune.
The first half is just amazing. I Think I will do a loop and let it go on for a couple of hours.
The drumm line when this picks up is pretty awesome too. His Highhat it waaaaayyy up to his right, nice!
Sugar for Sugar,
Salt for Salt
and vineger for douchebags like you
Kinda hard not to pity that co-worker . . .
Man, no kidding. Hope they continue to find escape through the great music.
Problem, I'm subjected to this station via my co-worker.
I just started a profile in attempt to get the hate out.
-PS- FUCK YOU

Or an early sunday evening at home, I'm getting old and kind of like it better because I feel a little wiser just by the promise of the growing part of it
If you think Romney is right wing extremist you have the wrong definition of the term.
And yes Growing Old is Getting Old.
NIce, solid 7 from me
So what do you think Romney is...?
Maybe the wrong definition (according to what or whom) was used,
it is still not incorrect to call this "Republic Tiger" exactly that!
A society should not define itself through millionairs, but through the poorest!
AMERICA is on a very wrong way - that much is sure!
The better - not the best - choice is certainly OBAMA!
It starts quietly, but with a kind of coiled intensity. Gradually builds to a climax that still doesn't let it all bust loose, then withdraws back into its shell.
(I don't think I've ever left such a lyrical comment. I'm not high, honest.)
Oh, I do believe you were! On the song, that is Great comment, Lewie!
I was happy to hear that they issued a cease and desist order to the Romney campaign for violating their copyright.
Shame on Romney for not contacting them and at least trying to get permission.
Most artists don't want to be associated with right wing extremists, and I don't blame them.
Kudos to the Silversuns for stickin' it to the Man Who Would Be King.
Are you surprised that it happened at all??

Very, you take the risk of filling your hard drive with music.
Masters of haunting repetiition - in the same way that Snow Patrol are - with their own unique sound.
The bassline is simple but compelling.
Very good indeed!
Bumped this up instead of writing it again!
I don't tire of this band.
.......
oh shit, it sounds like U2 now :/

Nor I, 65,...but the music is good!
growing old is better than the alternative
