Your words ring true, floydoftherocks.

I like the loping banjo in the background. The singer sounds a bit like the guy from the Eels.
Some say Leland - I say - - - not so much....{#Frustrated}

Not really.  I don't have any urge to put my hands over my ears or anything.

Some say Leland, and some say 'time for bye-byes' {#Sleep}

Strange Scrapbook of Musical Musings?
Silly Selection of Melodic Mucking?
Sly Suggestion of Manic Meditation...

Simple can be a virtue.

Does this make anyone else think of Andrew Bird?
Sounds like a song for the Raffi crowd.  Don't get excited; I like it, it just sounds a bit more juvenile than, say, Led Zeppelin, Cake, or Morphine.

Anyone got the lyrics? I'm sure they'll add great value to this cool but a bit bland song.{#Rolleyes}

I'll get em from you when I get my CD back.  The Some Say Leland stuff was all my post, which R & B seem to like a lot.  This is not really my favorite track, but its still nice.

Finally got my CD back, here are the lyrics:

   I  was  looking  at  you   while  you   were  looking   at  me,
   wondering  why I see  the things I see.  I saw you with your
   arms opened wide, and it looked like a pretty good place to
   hide.   I   was  listening  to  you,   but  you   were  listening
   for  me,   and   I   wasn't   going   to   speak   and   it   was
   plain   to   see.     Sometimes   I   just   don't   know   what
   to  say,   so   I   wait   for   the   moment   to   pass  away.
   There once was a story that was sang to me about a woman
   who sailed across the sea on a raft that she had made from
   paper  plates  while  the  salty  wind  blew across  her face.
   She  sailed  across  the  ocean  until   the  ocean  was  no
   more,  then  she  pulled   her  paper   raft  upon  the  shore.
   She  saw  the   earth  had  not   been  touched  by  human
   hands,  so she  got in her boat  and she sailed away again.
