You have only ONE TUNE by him on the RP PLAYLIST! Please ADD MORE! Thank You!
EXCELLENT!!! I never heard of him before, but I don't know why, since he has played with a LOT of GREAT PEOPLE! That is why we come here. Thanx RP!

You are spot on about the great bass. I have an independent amplified bass and the first note of Moun Madinina almost knocked my 72-year-old ass off the office chair. I listened to it again using Spotify - interestingly, the bass was not nearly as rich - Neil Young is correct about Spotify's poor fidelity.
Time for a seat belt on that chair. Sad, but it's coming for all of us.
Just stay continent.

First time I've heard this. I like!
PS Uh oh. I see I rated it already. Umm... it's Bills fault.

Oh, those wacky French.
Reminiscent of KC...nice.
Wow...totally commanded my attention, so I turned up the volume and wow! Really fascinating. Thanks, Bill!
Not instrumental
You need a good amp and speakers for this one, and RP's FLAC stream of course. The bass is very nice.

Excellent song. i like all the space between notes.
also benefits from large subwoofer. there's good bass here that's lost in desktop speakers

This is what I listen to RP for! Very nice.
But way more interesting than the standard audiophool canon....
Is it odd that I hear a whiff of old Steve Miller Band in that?

Have you heard Gabriel's "Scratch My Back" album?

I'm very much liking this on the first listen.
For some years this CD has been an audiophile reference standard. It's frequently used as a demo disc because of the deep bass found on many of the tracks.

There summing weird going down... first of all a negative comment (and distasteful one at that) from RT, and then RT is listed as a "Former Member"... Wozzup RT, Surely you haven't taken your leave? You were an institution!!!
I reckon he's been abducted by aliens and they hacked his RP account!
Damn... I always wanted him to post a pic of all the people in his hotel room while they "be dancing".

Yikes. this is the first negative comment i've seen from Romeo... saddens me since it's one of my LRCs and i think it's a great song... to each his own!

"Just in case you go 'Mino who?', he's been around for years and has played with Miles Davis and Weather Report (actually was 'member' of both bands)"
He was on the Weather Report albums Sportin Life and This is This. He sang on the Sportin Life song called Confians (I think he wrote it also). It was a minor hit around 85. I really liked it.
As for this one, it's OK. Not up to his earlier work though.

Thank you. That's some serious street cred. I also found out Mino is a percussionist, among other things.

Spot on (in a good way). Nice set follow up to Gabriel.

YES! It sounds MUCH BETTER here in FLAC through great equipment! Thanx RP!
