That age old look is in your face
It's been there a while and tries not to say
That you've had your day
But you have a faith, that looks both ways
The look in your eyes will last a lifetime
So when you reach the end of the road
It still leaves somewhere to go
You don't look for signs at the end of the road
But I won't try to live side by side
And I won't try, when you can take me back in time
That charmless look upon your face
Found its way through the smallest things
That have changed
So when you reach the end of the road
It still leaves somewhere to go
You don't look for signs at the end of the road
But I won't try to live side by side
And I won't try, when you can take me back in time
And I won't try to live side by side
And I won't try, when no one can take me back in time
It's been there a while and tries not to say

Thought this was a Carbon Leaf song initially.
Clicking on the website link brings one to Idlewild Winery. Internet searches still need some curating. Oh, and I like this music, which was why I clicked on the link.
Beautiful!
Agree with Romeolaz as always. Nice to hear.
U2 met Michael many many years ago. ziakut wrote:

If I could create wonderful music of any sort, I would choose it to sound like this.
Good stuff - feeling a purchase coming on......

Nice tune
This is nice
Not the Idlewild I'm used to hearing-nice
Everybody in my office is away at lunch...
Everybody in my church loves this brilliant song...
...this reminds me of carbon leaf without all the over-compression; nice...
we both lie silently still in the dead of the night...
first listen... i really like this.
Love earlier Idlewild, will have to check this out.
This is the best chaser to "Don't Follow" by AIC - I like it a lot! Good harmonies, lots of different dynamics intermingling. Definite 8 for the first listen.
like this song, I wonder about the one Cynaera refers to, might be great to hear them together as she mentions Beauty
