I really wanna tell you, that everything is gonna be okay

So don’t you listen to ‘em, ‘cause people always got something to say

Just listen to you heart

Don’t you ever worry ‘cause worry’s gonna kill your dreams

Even though you’re walking in cold dark foreign places

Hang on to your dreams ‘cause dreams keep things alive

And cut away those strings you don’t need with the sword you carry down inside

And listen to your heart

‘Cause I’m alive, to gamble love I’m gonna bet my soul the day will come

And I was right, ‘cause there’s no wrong

I’m gonna bet my heart and gain the sun

By tomorrow

And someone tried to warn me that I was being followed

But every time I look behind all I see is my shadow

I’m haunted by the thoughts of what other people think

But I won’t listen to ‘em ‘cause I’m gonna do my own thing

With this life

And listen to my heart

And listen to my heart

‘Cause I’m alive, to gamble love I’m gonna bet my heart the day will come

And I was right, ‘cause there’s no wrong

I’m gonna bet my heart and gain the sun

‘Cause I’m alive, to gamble love, I’m gonna be my soul the day will come

And I was right, ‘cause there’s no wrong

I’m gonna bet my heart and gain the sun

By tomorrow

This is the possibly answer to our's society questions, only. To give an end to the discussion between universalism vs identity!

I haven't counted all the way through but it seems like occasionally syncopated 4/4.

Very, very wrong
Thank you for the extra-fine programming today, Bill and Rebecca. It's needed.
Very very boring
Found this one for Info

Wow ... we are on a roll of boring songs today. Not the best mix I've ever heard. Hopefully will pick up shortly.
10. Never a doubt.
This song reminds me of when my gramma had my back and wouldn't let me drop out of clown college.."Get in there and squirt em in the eye"she said.Good times,Thank You gramma and the burned too i guess.
Not much on this artist out there.   Good song.

Yes, it's a grower, this one...  Just moved to a rare '9', I am really enjoying this.

Thanks for the comeback on that one Proc....heck I've rated it an 8 and while I don't claim to have "fine tastes" I believe the idea of music is pretty much "to each their own" - obviously some songs are more widely liked than others, and I am not ashamed to be in the "I like this song" camp.  Seriously these negative commenters/trolls are getting a bit irritating!!

Long Live RP!!

I like this song. Its grey outside, only rained once in more than 284 days, and prospects are looking like it is going to be a very very hot, dusty and airless year~ Welcome to Los Angeles...

This song is soft, lamenting, and somber. Its not the most technically proficient song, but it speaks nevertheless.

Pretty bad, really, and not fit for the fine taste of RP.

Song to listen to your heart to.
Yeah I am a sucker for this song. That driving sound.
Really great. Does anyone can help with lyrics?
Very nice!
... it has the authentic sound of an indy band ... Nice! {#Cheers}
There's something audacious about the choice of this flange effect on the guitar, which could have sounded like an easy solution to create some mood with an easy preset from any FX rack, but finally it doesn't sound that easy. These slightly dissonant chords are actually very elaborate and no two measures sounds exactly the same throughout the song. Very good composition work.
The whole CD is about like this. Great pace and vibe.

Gosh sooo beautyful, that's a 10 for me.{#Notworthy}
Yuck.  Just not quite there for me.
Ya.  The Burned.  Sound pretty burned out to me

It's that stupid synth piano playing the three notes in the chorus below it's capable range.  Bloody annoying.
Dang, I thought it was this:

I can see what you mean but I still like it for reasons I can't explain. It just "hits the spot" right now. Might not be something I would want to hear many times a day, but this is the first time for me and it's got a nice, juicy groove.
Hello I almost did not speak English, but I really need the lyrics. Please help and write text

Not bad at all. Solid 6.
quite good at live performance too {#Music}

I would've given it a 8 for the music but the lyrics are so cheesy I dropped it to a 7.
Hot stuff !

Hah, looking two comments below... for me, it's 3:30 in the afternoon, and I'm working, and I love this tune also. Apparently 3:30 is the key. :-)

really liked this song when i heard it this morning... went ahead and bought the album. it's an instant winner! front-to-back GOOD!
just listen to your heart. Thanks for reminding me just now.
Great song. <3
Casually hypnotic notes and beat.  The smokey quality in the vocalist's voice is almost reminescent of Sting to a degree.  I am impressed
Nice rotation this morning!
flub-lub it.. {#Curtain}

Thank you, rabbi_phil!  I like Kan'Nal very much and have seen them live a couple of times in Eugene, OR.  I thought there was something familiar here with The Burned, and now you've identified it for me.  {#Notworthy}

Really?  Audioslave?  I don't hear it.

Of course, I don't listen to Audioslave by choice, so I suppose I could be missing it.

Wow, is the whole album like this?  Love it ...
Bill's really burning the airwaves tonight.  {#Fire}{#Bananasplit}{#Fire}

Definitely, especially the familiar part. Love the haunting quality, the violin.

So many times while listening to RP I'll be working away and then a song comes on and I have to stop what I'm doing and demand "WHO IS THAT?"
