i disagree because i enjoy seeing the opinions. i think what i don't appreciate is trying to sway an opinion. we all know that if i feel one way and you feel another, i'm not going to make you change your mind about a song. but i'll listen to the "why" if there is one. i think it's interesting to see all the opinions and how they differ.
now, if you don't want to read the opinions, then don't.

i enjoy the comments here because in many cases people talk about experiences they have when they have heard a specific song for the first time, or where they were when it dropped and what it means to them or how their opinion has changed about it after some time...that kind of thing is great about the comment section to each song on RP.
Break-up songs are always so sad.

I wish this could be put in the title.  It's kind of disingenuous to refer to Moby as the artist when there is a very clear lead vocal.

I knew I knew that name   Not "Melville," Travis
I like it.
Going to hit the next button cant stand moby
Nobody does detached coolness quite like Moby.

Oh, no.  Netflix have done it again ...  More nonsensical time filler for people with too much time on their hands.

I really enjoy the video that accompanies this track..it's powerful..as is this beautiful piece of music..it also has a bit more wailing vocals during the outro{#Cry}

Probably because he's an oldfart48 and the batteries of his hearing aid are running out?

Moby.....cooler sock on Earth
This was the background music for Jian Gomeshi's Q intros... I'm creeped out.

The original series gradually spiraled into the depths of cheesiness.

And any movie with Mimi Rogers and Heather Graham in tight spacesuits can't be a total loss.

Heather Graham and Mimi Rogers in still from "Lost in Space"

Insert overheated comments here:..
Love it.
Thanks Bill!

Love it...better with every listen{#Music}it has soul
Out come the Moby haters again. A bit ho hum this one, even for a fan

I'd watch that movie.

True, as with any other Moby song.

Interesting...

...this is used as the music lead-in to the "slightly downer" intro monologues of CBC program "Q".  (There is also a tune for "upper" monologue... a Radiohead intro looped, Planet Telex - and a "very downer" dirge tune, usually for death of a good person or a good idea)

Some of the monologues are pretty neatly drawn... some, kind of stupid.  But I always try to hear them.

I think the monologues - and the program - may be suffering from saccharine creep.... and so might Moby
Wow, I just realized I have not bought the last 4 Moby CDs...I have each one before that.  I'd sensed a gradual decline...........Should I?
What a cool, smooth tune ....

I'm with you, I had no idea he had anything new out. Seems like he was everywhere for a while, including a FANTASTIC James Bond theme, then he faded away. And if you can believe it, that Bond theme came out sixteen years ago...

Yes, but he also did some end title music or tracks for the Jason Bourne movies. That was not quite at this level or that of his cuts off Play or Songs, and some of that stuff, jeez, is more than 15 years old already.

Dreadful.

..reminded me of Bittersweet Symphony a bit with the strings/synths..a real nice piece here (imho)..
I like the album cover - that's how many feel upon entering (what appears to be) a hospital....

I miss Moby. He can be a bit pretentious, I can see why he shuts some people down, but a lot of his sound has the smooth, mellow or passionate and evocative groove I really dig. Lush rainy NYC 1 a.m. lounge music that gets to my emotive centers.

One time I was sitting in a car at Rivington and Allen, just south of E. Houston St., about lunchtime, one of his cuts (Anthem) had just concluded on my CD mix — and he walked right by across the street, talking on his cell phone. Big odds on that. Serendipity!

Great story!

I like his sound, but the cuts I've liked most have sampled great African-American voices and songs that may very well have their own great stopping power. Who gets the credit in those cases—the sampled works or Moby for arranging electronica around them?

nice to hear Moby again. I really like how he gets great vocals and uses a range of influences - relaxing calm and expansive

i'm in full agreement. i never used to be a fan until around 1997. now i couldn't tell you what cd of his i like the best. some is just so ambient and perfect...it's great for background, and for driving.

It's not bad but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it.  Most of his stuff tops out at about a 6 for me.
I'm not that keen on electronica, but between the velvet voice and mellow groove, I'm swaying.
Moby gets such a bad rap, but this is pretty good for new stuff! Solid 8.
Moby some more of this
This sounds good!
