Great "thinking" music to me, lets my mind wander where it wants to go. Another great song that you wouldn't find on many other stations. Thanks RP!

Where are these "other stations" found?
Me three!
This following Famous Blue Raincoat.....genius Bill
Cool! ...I never heard of him (them) before. ...Thanx RP!
It was turquase truely.
Got a Wishbone Ash vibe about it.
What a segue Bill!
Whoa, it's the PS3 Red Dead Redemption Soundtrack!
I love RP {#Bananajumprope}

I don't hear Tull, but yeah this is like Led Zep III morphing into IV's "Four Sticks."

Who is this Freddy? And why is he so funky?

Nothing like a little Freddy Funkster on a fall afternoon {#Cheesygrin}

...brilliant segue from famous blue raincoat...
That tune was mixed so perfectly after Leonard Cohen I thought it was a dub version of Cohen's song...

a ten .. surely a ten !!
Thank you Funky Freddy
and Thank you Radio Paradise for playing
This is a seriously great song!
Just yesterday bumped into listening something similar at Acklam Village on the Portobello Road (funkeandthetwotonebaby). Without comparing those two, love this one. :-)
Great stuff Freddy!

Thank you very much Andy! This piece was inspired by a lot of Catskill wanderings by foot and snowshoe :) The woods are alive there!

That's all he said before he ran off into the woods.

Welcome on board, Freddy - it's nice to have another Fred around these parts :o). It's good when artists pop up on these boards, not least because it helps to keep comments relatively civil ;-)

This is a distinctive number, mixing a number of sounds in a way that perhaps shouldn't work, but certainly does to these ears. 8 from the toe-tapping Nottingham jury.
Led Zeppelin crossed with Jethro Tull ( maybe )

I can hear a similarity in some parts, but there's a lot going on in this number, and you must realize that he's drawing from the same folk traditions that Page and Tull drew from - musical traditions from long before the 1960s.  Nicely layered sound.  Cool stuff.
Going off to find this.......
Not Sure if the Dog was part of the song or YOUR DOG BILL.... but Lug.. My dog was freaked out!
It's Good to know Bill and his Dog are REAL
Funny Bill... Dog said get the door.
Sounds like it could be part of a movie soundtrack, one that I would like to see.

Dewd!!!

I had turned the volume down while I had to make a phone call and turned it back up during the guitar intro, and thought the same thing "Some LZ I've never heard before?"

I had to re-listen to it on funkyfreddy.bandcamp.com and bumped it up to a 9. The song was also used for a video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbSXOxoGTQo.

Now I just have to listen to the rest of the CD to see if I want the whole thing...

I thought I heard jimmy page...
Thank you very much aspicer, glad you enjoy it!

I'm not familiar with Robbie Basho.... could you link me to some of his work? I'd love to hear it :)

The tabla keeps it moving along - without that it might be just a bit boring?
Just interesting. 5.
This is a great song!  I am glad to hear it on RP :)

Really growing on me.  New to me.

Nice variation on Matty Groves, although I must say I think the Fairport Convention version is the definitive one!
