Whoa! That is a horrible cover of such a beautiful song!

Completely missing the spirit of the song......how can you take such a hopeful beautiful song and turn it into something so morbid. (?)

(edit) Forgot my <sarcasm> tags.
First time EVER I gave a song a 1
I'm fascinated with this.
Here's my thought: They made it their own, but I'm actually not sure they went far enough. Taking it to the minor key is a really interesting and ironic twist, but they keep the range too flat to really have as much impact as it could have.
Going out on a limb and giving it a 4. I could have been a 6-7 if they'd been a bit more audacious.

I actually like it better than the nonsensical glurge-fest of the original--not that that's a high bar to clear.
Ugh. One of my few sucko-barfo ratings. This is just terrible. Depressing in tone and tempo, joyless and soul sucking, especially considering the message of the lyrics.

Just because it's out there doesn't mean it has to be played. Please feel free to take this out of the rotation. God awful. Maybe the worst song RP has ever played.
Just awful.......
Has a certain irony. I think I can take this more than I can a millionaire sitting in his Manhattan loft playing his white grand and "imagining" this.
Bill, RP has been hacked, you should have heard the song they just put on to discredit your taste in music....awful
Up there with Madonga's American Pie as the worst covers of great cultural icons ever. Some things should just not exist.
I think this song has the lowest rating I've seen on RP. It deserves the honor.
This was a mistake. Thanks for the PSD button!
No. Just.....no.
Please, make it stop!
Robert Plant AND John Lennon what their song back. <bleck>
How about not.
Completely missing the spirit of the song......how can you take such a hopeful beautiful song and turn it into something so morbid.
Awful version -> 1
he's made a really hope-filled song into a dirge
This is a perfectly horrible cover. 1 (only because I can't give it a 0!)
daring
My long-standing rule for covers: 1, pay tribute to the original, 2, make it your own
This is a very interesting take on a John's classic....would he be proud?

THIS.
Spot. On.
