Sometimes I slide away
Silently
I slowly lose myself
Over and over
Take comfort in my skin
Endlessly
Surrender to my will
Forever and ever
I dissolve in trust
I will sing with joy
I will end up dust
I'm in heaven
I stand in golden rays
Radiantly
I burn a fire of love
Over and over
Reflecting endless light
Relentlessly
I have embraced the flame
Forever and ever
I will scream The Word
Jump into the void
I will guide the herd
Up to heaven
Silently
I slowly lose myself
Over and over
Take comfort in my skin
Endlessly
Surrender to my will
Forever and ever
I dissolve in trust
I will sing with joy
I will end up dust
I'm in heaven
I stand in golden rays
Radiantly
I burn a fire of love
Over and over
Reflecting endless light
Relentlessly
I have embraced the flame
Forever and ever
I will scream The Word
Jump into the void
I will guide the herd
Up to heaven

Too many triangles, deltas and prisms in pop culture lately. Also, I like this, but shouldn't Depeche Mode be served with slightly annoying synthesizer, or at least a side order of echo-ey vibro-guitar?
Were they all on Thorazine ?
It's a boring song - i don't like it!
Please don't play this again

Any song which had the power to make someone want to do all that probably shouldn't be called "boring".
Depressing, boring, typical Depeche Mode, I want to paint my skin white, my nails black, die dye my hair black, and die of depression.

Sometimes, when band re-invent themselves, it's good. Then there's this.
3rd hearing and I like...
This must be the first DM song I did not hate right away....
I seem to like DM more and more as time goes on.
so strained! please put this song out of its misery

Nice ... despite the heavy use of computer-generated sound

Nice vocals. Vanilla Fudge?

Hmm- you might be interested in checking out a few of their set lists for the current tour. I saw them twice and they did a ton of their older stuff, as they always do. Sorry you missed out!
Ugh!! so sick of this song!! I wanted to go to their concert for their tour, then they came out saying they would not be performing any of their older music =(

Not up to DM- or RP-standard.
SPIRALLING DOWNWARDS - same speed as US+A
Great segue from Dandy Warhols - Mohammed
The end of this is quite literally borrowed from Massive Attack's Angel. Coincidence, given the title?

First impression: kinda weird. Not the cool controlled DM of the past. Sounds like he's taking gasping singing cues from Muse and Bono.

They always had a knack for cool stylings, intriguing themes, and interesting textures...nice to hear something powerful from them again!

Fantastic come-back, rate it with an 8

Soulful harmonies and arrangement. Unusual for this band...but I like it.
Didn't realize they had new material out...sounds pretty good.
This album has been my life since it was released earlier this year. Pure joy!
Defining sound and only after the first few moments! What could go wrong. Love! 8 already!
fantastic!
