We're wanted dead or alive
Forsaken past criminal minds
To sustain we cannot afford
All her rules we cannot ignore.

(Chorus)

When the bell tolls
We can't fall
We must save her soul
It's the last call
The last straw
We must save her soul

Can we make it alive?
Fragile fate that she will decide
And I know we don't live alone
And I know we can't make our own.

went with a 7, because I do in fact find it 'quite likeable' on my first listen

Vocals sounds like a sleepy Ray Davies without the clever lyrics.
It reminds me a lot of Spoon from 2-3 albums ago.  The vocals sound a lot different, but stylistically it sounds very similar to me.
Sounds like a drunk busker with some backing help.  Instant PSD now I've heard it once.
A solid 5 although I'd like to hear more from this project.
It's hard to find out anything about this guy/ these people! But it's for sure easy to like how it sounds...got that trippy new familiarity to it!
Ray Davies? Reminds me more of Damon Albarn!
We all agree. It's Ray Davies grandson.

6 > 7. Not much on vocals, but that guitar rip, though repetitive, is a catchy ear worm. Good driving music.
Agreed!

Hmm. The vocals sound a bit over affected.
I think it sounds more like James singing in his sleep.

Liking the Chinawoman/Johnny Marr/Concrete Blonde/Kinks strains running through this thing!  Nice Sunday afternoon groovin' tune!

The music -- or maybe just the guitar -- is much stronger than the singing, which is only half intelligible.
psd, avoiding REM I luckily had Graham Parker and the Rumours entrance my soul, so these fellas fit in kind of nice right after, strong guitar plucking
