Can you hear me calling
Out your name
You know that I'm falling
And I don't know what to say
I'll speak a little louder
I'll even shout
You know that I'm pround
And I can't get the words out
Oh I...
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh I...
I want to be with you everywhere
(Wanna be with you everywhere)
Something's happening
Happening to me
My friends say I'm acting peculiarly
C'mon baby
We better make a start
You better make it soon
Before you break my heart
Oh I...
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh I...
I want to be with you everywhere
(Wanna be with you everywhere)
Can you hear me calling
Out your name
You know that I'm falling
And I don't know what to say
Come along baby
We better make a start
You better make it soon
Before you break my heart
Oh I...
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh I...
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh I...

Why can't we just put on the Fleetwood Mac version? That was good in its own way, and had a bit more energy.
Well instead of PSD I'm off to listen to it, this Roadkill version is putting me to sleep.
Sounds like The Kinks!
Vraiment agréable à écouter, un pur bonheur auditif
Mr Pibb probably indicates the young gentlemen are not yet 21. Sure look like 17 or 18 and parked on New Smyrna Beach.

Mr. Pibb on the hood should be a Budweiser.

love this version and I was there when the original was aired, also prefer and appreciate this version. If they would only have done without the electronic noise effects, which sound like a heartbeat monitor in a pregnancy center and are just distracting from the excellent song🤔

This one stumped Shazam.
I'm hearing echoes of The Moody Blues at times but it's not enough to save it for me this is pretty ho hum
Nice!
I'm sure Christine would have approved.

They sound like Calexico.
Mr. Pibb on the hood?!
Excellent!
.... interesting cover photo ... ? Since they're from DeLand, maybe the photo is New Smyrna Beach.
Great song and well done. It’s beautiful music.
Turns the slightly the rather twee production of the original into a n emotional tour de force.
Needs more echocardiogram
I love the original and I really like this version... it's meditative and distinct.

Right up there with Madonna's American Pie as the worst covers ever.
I never put it together that this was a cover. That's when you know it's a great cover song I think. Beautifully done!
This cover feels lethargic and lifeless. I'm just not seeing what others are seeing in it.
I ran over a ghost once, right around the end of October last year. Dented my F-250 bumper and left one hell of a mess on the wheel well.
The cover photo must have been shot for the album but the IROC sets the mood as a period piece.

A bitchin' Camaro + a beach are a helluva lot more exciting than this band.

Roadkill Ghost Choir would not have been my first choice for a band name.
But what the hell... what I want to know is one of the band members a fly angler? Fly tyers make a point of picking up roadkill.

like both versions for the different time frame. but I hate the album cover; reminds me of a bad trip to the beach. was not on the hood btw.
slow, nagging, nothing happening, boring
Excellent, ultrasound machine and all.
How do you cover a song and make it your own? Well, here’s your answer… beautiful. Thanks R&B

I like this better than the original. The original is bland; this is actually interesting.

I just wish they would play their own songs instead.
Had to go listen to the original again, and I prefer this cover version. The original seems a little cheesy in comparison. The video doesn't help.
I like this cover, too.
This song is amazing. I hate Fleetwood Mac as a rule but Roadkill Ghost Choir brings a totally new interpretation which far surpasses the original, imho.
When you do a remake this is how to do it. Don't sounds anything like the original except for the basic melody. Make it an entirely new song so we can hear it in a new way.
Someone's having fun with their new analog tape delay. To my ears it really doesn't fit the otherwise subdued and melancholic tone of the song. It's like the cowbell in "Don't Fear the Reaper." Why?
8 to 10. just cuz
It is a beautiful version !

Nice tune. This afternoon's listen prompted me to crank the volume up a bit. Leaving my rating at 7 for now though.

Each time I hear this I seem to like it more than the last time....so I bumped my 7 to an 8. The FM version was on the greatest hits tape I wore out back in the early 90s, not sure if I like one better than the other as they are so different. Long Live RP!!

agreed! gets better and better each time I hear it!
I'm joining the "I prefer this to the original" club.
It's quite rare for a cover to appeal more to me than the original - this is one of those exceptions.

Interesting take on this, great cover.
I love a good cover. This one does nothing for me. Forgettable. This is Christine's song, period. No rating.

Nice and easy on a a Saturday afternoon. Love this version. Love this band. Thanks RP.
I love a cover song that sounds great and is transformational enough that is takes you a good minute to realize what the original is!
I never considered the original a particularly strong song, this version adds nothing for me.

Lovely recording of the song, but the vocals are buried in the mix.

Nice and easy on a Sunday morning :-) Thanks RP
Love a cover that isn't just a 'rinse and repeat.' They've really put their own stamp on it. Heart, lots of heart
I like this melancholy mood. A very good and unique interpretation of a mediocre Fleetwood Mac song.
Yep, really like this....perhaps because it's a Sunday morning and the song fits. Does anyone else get a Sun Kil Moon vibe from this?

For a few bars I thought it was Marianne Faithfull. He has the same style of delivery.

Interesting they used a recording of an ultrasound for the sound defect...

It was 99 degrees here today and now it's raining and this song is perfect.
I detect an odd struggle in my mind concerning this total revision of the sweetly-sung love song by Christine McVie.
Typically I'd be annoyed at such a drastic change in tone, but not quite so this time.
I do prefer the original, and I'm not sure that I really wish to ever hear this new one again (okay maybe once more 6 months from now), but I do have to give credit for the artistic efforts that went into this new version.

This one pulled me across the room- interesting...
This song is as atmospheric and ethereal as the band name suggests. 8 from the spirited away Nottingham jury.

Now that's a cover! Ever so slight inflection of the key lyric to give a nod to the original otherwise very much it's own tune. mmm... yes.
Right now I am on a different plane then RP's selection here so I'll just go to YouTube and punch up some Al Green.
I,love the band's name!
