I can't wait forever
Even though you want me to
I can't wait forever
To know if you'll be true

Time won't let me
Time won't let me
Time won't let me
wait too long

Can't you see I've waited too long to love you
To hold you in my arms

Time won't let me
Time won't let me
Time won't let me

I can't wait forever
Even though you want me to
I can't wait forever
To know if you'll be true

Time won't let me
Time won't let me
Time won't let me wait that long
It won't let me wait that long

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait that long (repeats)

Smithereens indeed do a great cover. I played with Pat a few times at his home in Scotch Plains, NJ.

RIP. Good friend, sorely missed.

I got you by two years.
Good ol' AM radio!

Yeppers, I was 14 and hearing it the very same way and the same time you were on KHJ and KRLA to mention a couple.  I think KFWB was still playing music then, too.  Now I have ended up in the city that was home to The Outsiders, Cleveland.

What a long strange trip this has been.

{#Cheers}
The Smithereens do a fantastic cover of this gem!

NO. I hear a guy who wants his girlfriend to like him.
Can you say "hit bound"  on AM 68 RKO?,,,,
...most excellent indeed ..."8"
Love this song!
One of the first songs I ever played onstage, brings back great memories of long ago.
This was the first 45 that I bought.

Hey RP, did I miss an announcement re: the options for channels? I tune in about once every 3 days or so, and today I noticed there is no longer any options other than the RP Main Mix – no harder rock option any more?

Or is that just for the payin' (donating) customers now?
which one is Ponyboy?

This was all over the radio waves when I was a kid. I remember going fishing in Dad's Buick Electra convertible and this blasting out...
bet The Monkees/Boyce and Hart borrowed from these dudes ( "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone" )
Charge up the batteries for the time machine. What a groovy ear worm blast from the past.

RIP Sonny. Thanks for the memories.
Always liked this one.

And there's something about those mid-60's album covers that is just AWESOME!
OH, MANNNNNNNNNNNN.
Classic.

Wow, POC ... Pride of Cleveland.  Sonny Geraci and Co.  He still plays gigs around but is not doing too well health wise.

Hi ya Dave !!  Good to see you poking around.
Cool, haven't heard this in decades...
