She said let's get out of this town
Drive out of the city
Away from the crowds
I thought heaven can't help me now
Nothing lasts forever
But this is gonna take me down
She's so tall, and handsome as hell
She's so bad but she does it so well
I can see the end as it begins my one condition is
Say you'll remember me
Standing in your nice dress, staring at the sunset
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams
Your wildest dreams (Ah ah)
I said no one has to know what we do
Her hands are in my hair, clothes are in my room
Her voice is a familiar sound, nothing lasts forever
But this is getting good now
She's so tall, and handsome as hell
She's so bad but she does it so well
And when we've had our very last kiss
But my last request it is
Say you'll remember me
Standing in your nice dress, staring at the sunset baby
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams
Wildest dreams (Ah ah)
You see me in hindsight
Tangled up with you all night
Burn it down
Some day when you leave me
That all these memories will follow you around
Will follow you around, 'round, ooh
Say you'll remember me
Standing in your nice dress, staring at the sunset baby
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams
Your wildest dreams
Say you'll remember me
Say that you'll remember me

I do like that you can listen to this song un-ironically, it's so good.
This is good!
AND it's a song I uploaded... AND it got accepted!
Taylor Swift performing Wildest Dreams at The Grammy Museum. Have a listen. Dare ya. Then try and think she's not hypertalented!

I prefer "The wildest dreams" from "The Sound". Take a look : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNJ6uiNsrsA
and give a little help to a great disapeared Artist, Adrian Borland, to challenge with Taylor Swift : today 15236 views against 569 588 379, it's so unfair.

"Because"!
Biggest question is "Why"?
"Because"!
sound is most excellent (beautiful dated look to the "album art" could've been photo'ed here in my backyard ; )
I love this song written by extremely talented artist TAYLOR SWIFT. Why does everyone have such a problem with that?
Yikes! I'm not a big fan of this tune, esp. not since it has a very similar title to one of my fav Moody Blues pop hits, Your Wildest Dreams. I'll rate it a 6 though for the LOLZ to BillG's "Ryan Adams doing Taylor Swift" comment. Head fully in gutter!
Nice.
What a great song writer that girl is.
Biggest question is "Why"?
Did Bill just say that Ryan Adams does Taylor Swift?
It sounded like a bad idea... then sounded like a really bad idea... Then I noticed it was not Bryan Adams. But still does not sound like a very good idea.
I think I'm a Taylor Swift fan now WHATS HAPPENING
Why/
Like comparing Bud Lite to a craft beer. Taylor sounds like bubble gum Barbie. Fake and boring. :-)
What is wrong with you people! And I like Taylor's version....
Now it's Taylor Swift's turn to do an album of Ryan Adams songs. It's only fair.

That Girl can sure write Hit Songs
I was a sceptic until we bought the album for my daughter. Like 9/10 good songs. Impressive. this version is well done too. That Girl can sure write Hit Songs
Check out Father John Misty's version of Welcome to New York, also from 1989!
Really like this song. Will have to give the album a listen.

Pretty much what I was thinkin'.
Well said, hh.
Embedded in your criticism is that thought that Taylor Swifts music should only be met with derision and scorn and that "irony" is the only way a "real" artist could have anything to do with it. I don't think Ryan Adams sees it that way. This album is not so much a grab for money as an homage. He likes the songs. He immersed himself in the album when it came out. Having worked with Taylor previously, he saw how her creative process and songwriting is similar to his own AND how he could add something to the songs on 1989.

This doesn't do it for me one way or another, but it's an aural break in the lineup. Not every recording can be spectacular - so one like this is a nice pause until something really good comes along...

shameful grab at money. WTF. Not even a hint of irony ala TSOL covering Like a Virgin.

Much better than Taylor's version. He should be her producer and she should give up the bubble gum crap.
Yeah, I like it. Never heard it before.
it rocks, enough
love it....but never heard the original and Ryan has pathos to burn....

Just love this entire album so much
worth a positive emoji
Sing it as Ryan Adams was do it. (like a "Does anybody.." for example)
I have nothing to compare these songs to since I have never heard a taylor swift song - so yay ryan adams :)
This record grows on you.
TS is one GREAT songwriter.
Great Version - Just not as HOT as TS
I really like this.
Call me a dorp... I like Taylor Swift's too.
This one's even better.

Oh man, this is SO much better than the original. Heard the original for the first time on the radio a few days ago and almost puked. Nevertheless "s/he's so tall and handsome as hell" still goes down in my book as one of the worst lyrics I've ever heard no matter who sings it.
I'm glad you are playing cuts from this.
I find it interesting that someone would cover an entire album of Taylor Swift's. This is good and different, but I'm still not sick of the original yet. But it is nice to hear a different version!!
