You killed the crowd in my head
With the naysayers dead
I guess I can finally
Let go of all my uncertainty
All great divides meet their demise

Meet me in the honey of ourselves
We're one in a billion bullets of love
We'll ride helpless and happy
If heaven's the edge, then what lies above?

If I am all you've found
An extra arm to wrestle down
Will you keep me around?

This world so inexplicable
Parallel universe ticks out of time
Guess if the gods have gone crazy
Then we found the place for us to dive

If I am all you found
An extra arm to wrestle down
Will you keep me around?

Oh keep me around
Oh keep me around
Oh keep me around
Oh keep me around

Indeed it is
The first two verses of this song bring to mind the metaphorical stories of some Sufi sects practice of Gathering Honey

You killed the crowd in my head
With the naysayers dead
I guess I can finally
Let go of all my uncertainty
All great divides meet their demise

Meet me in the honey of ourselves
We're one in a billion bullets of love

We'll ride helpless and happy
If heaven's the edge, then what lies above?
I drive a lot & my car has Touring Brakes!
There must be something wrong with me because I truly hate that lazy dafty punky beat.

Yep, although it's never been quite the Tom Waits masculine type of vocals you'll hear from TB, it seems to me that his voice sounds more girly on this track than on others.

The first second or two of this track had me thinking it was a Sublime song; alas it isn't so!

I have already rated this song an 8...and in reading the comments the singer is a guy?  well then....I suppose I'll keep the rating an 8 and TRY not to think of the girly guy voice.  LONG LIVE RP !

This guys voice reminds me of early BoDeans. Sammy Llanas of that band had a distinct set of pipes as well.

Yes, he has a light 'young' sounding voice.  It just takes a while to get your ears tuned to this.

quick turnaround for this, about 15 hours
so this is a guy singing?
This one's right on the fence for me.  A 5, for now.
Excited to hear new music from them.
