Could you see them screaming and weeping?
Could you see the storm rising?
Could you see the guy who was driving?
Could you climb higher and higher?
Could you climb right over the top?
Why does a multi-millionaire
Fill up his home with priceless junk?
The wind is whistling
The wind is whistling
Through the house
Elvis are you out there somewhere
Looking like a happy man?
In the snow with Rosebud
And king of the mountain
Another Hollywood waitress
Is telling us shes having your baby
And theres a rumour that youre on ice
And you will rise again someday
And that theres a photograph
Where youre dancing on your grave
The wind is whistling
The wind is whistling
Through the house
Elvis are you out there somewhere
Looking like a happy man?
In the snow with Rosebud
And king of the mountain
The wind it blows
The wind it blows the door closed
It SLAPS!!
Unlike Madona - Kate Bush has not been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
If it was up to RP listeners I suspect it would be the other way around.
She finally has . . .

She was inducted this year!
This is a really great live album.
Finally got around to listening to the whole thing,
just recently. Highly recommended . . . to Kate fans.
Non-fans? Well, maybe, if you're open-minded. Enjoy!
I heard an interview with Kate around the time of the tour. She said the first thing she did was find a drummer, because she sees the drummer as the heart of the band.
Without the beats, we die

Madonna gets cred for turning herself into a product and re-inventing herself as needed. Kate's an artist. Period.
I love this so much more than the studio version. It just seems to have more punch.
Amen! I love to turn this one up to get the full baseline, and the percussion. There is power here similar to the power in Peter Gabriel's music.
If her music is "pop" - why is it not on pop radio? I think some of Kates songs have elements of pop - but most are much more.
Kate Bush is a treasure. And that drummer is a monster.
I believe the drummer is Omar Hakim. Incredible.
By Jeeeezuss this is one of them. 9+
She is one of 17 nominees, only 5 of whom will be inducted:
"While the Rock Hall inductees are decided upon by a body of more than 1,000 artists, industry members and historians, fans have the opportunity to contribute to the selection process by voting every day at vote.rockhall.com or at the museum in Cleveland. The five artists who receive the most votes of these 17 nominees will be tallied among the other ballots to ultimately decide the Class of 2022.
The Rock and Roll Class of 2022 will be revealed in May 2022, with the ceremony itself taking place at a to-be-announced date and location this fall."

So true! And if you consider the female clone musicians who have followed Madonna's mold and have been strutting sex on stage and churning out schlocky music versus the fine female musicians who have followed Kate Bush's example and used their voices and talents to create fine music your point is further reinforced.
I would use examples to support my viewpoint, but, judging by the comments of many RP listeners, I really don't need to.
Kate Bush is POP?
I think it was a wrong decision to perform live at this point of her career. I miss the magic and spark she had totally. If she was to perform live again, she should have done it after Hounds of Love came out. I am disappointed by this as a Kate Bush fan.
WHAT?
Kate is rather astounding. One of my dream dates. Love to back her on bass, vocals or keyboard.
She's wearing her Baboska Outfit for your date.
After an exhaustive search trying to find the live video for this (if it exists anywhere) I have come up empty. Would gladly pay to see it if anyone knows where to view it.
Kate asked concert goers to put phones away. And apparently no bootleggers were in the crowds either. Maybe someday Kate will release, but don't count on it.

That's cute that you think the RR Hall of Fame is about talent.

This song has a killer beat. And fantastic vocals. I'm a little surprised it's not rated higher.
I would down rate it for what I perceive as terrible production. Everything I have heard from this album sounds 'mushy', which is a shame, and odd, as I understand Kate is very involved in production of her music.
Hmm....it's not too bad on my high end system, but not as good as I would like/expect, either. It is live so that is part of it no doubt.
Yes. Rhett Miller of The Old 97s commented: as a lead singer/guitarist, I can walk off the stage and the music keeps going; but if the drummer walks off the stage, everything stops
(Ooops... thanks Scott)

Omar Hakim, who played with Sting on Dream of The Blue Turtles and he is the drummer tearing it up at the beginning of "Money For Nothing" by Dire Straits.
That is actually Terry Williams (of Rockpile, et al), who toured with the band when they did their live LP. Omar is apparently the drummer on the LP, otherwise. I thought it was all Terry, because he's the drummer in the video.
Thanks to DanielHLloyd

if you use a backing track at all, the drummer has got to be on point at all times or the band is dead.
See also Nightwish live. Big choral and orchestral backing tracks and excellent drummers in Jukka and now Kai. Kate and Tuomas also tend to do odd times and time changes. Drummers gotta be very good to keep everything going on beat when that happens.
Hakim also played drums on various songs from Daft Punk's Random Access Memories album, including the fantastic 'Moroder'.

Most likely providing a backdrop to an astonishing visual experience that we all missed out on.
Act 1 is a collection of songs from various albums, and the wind crescendos at the end of disc/act 1. Act 2 is side 2 from Hounds of Love, played in its entirety. I only learned this recently, after decades of addiction to that album... that side of the LP is a story about a woman shipwrecked alone at sea. So act/disc 2 of the live show begins with the shipwreck.

The whole live album has a lot of muscle to it.
The problem is what Miles Davies does on the trumpet!
The problem?
If it was up to RP listeners I suspect it would be the other way around.
Jazz fusion drummers just fkcn kill it every time. If you really like this give Miles Davis Miles in the Sky a listen and hear what Tony Williams does on the kit.

it happened on the 5th of May 2017 here at RP

One of my favorite rock quotes, this time from Robert Plant: "Anyone who says they haven't tinkered with the sound on their live album is not strictly telling the truth."
Through every nook and every cranny
The wind blew in on poor old Granny
Around her knees, into each ear
(And up nose as well, I fear)
All through the night the wind grew worse
It nearly made the vicar curse
The top had fallen off the steeple
Just missing him (and other people)
It blew on man, it blew on beast
It blew on nun, it blew on priest
It blew the wig off Auntie Fanny-
But most of all, it blew on Granny!
- Spike M.
Darn. Wrong wind.
the percussion at the start is very....intriguing.
sadly this version is not on spotify...yet
Whistling through the house. It's right there. In the song.
FAN TAST IK
It's whistling, dude.
Are you sure of that? It could blow, too.

Er, what? RP malfunctioned, you continued to listen, and now everyone else should be deprived because you didn't go listen to something else for a while? Surely I'm misunderstanding.
On this day we found out that Spotify and Pandora joined algorithms and became sentient. Bill, the last human DJ, was labeled the resistance and terminated.
not a fan of beta... but thanks, mate
first i thought "oh my god, too much drinks yesterday. i just hear the same song again"!
but when i read the comments here, i know i´m not the only one:-)!!!
guys! let´s listen this until it stops! does anybody count the repeats...hihihihi
great song, but after the 5th or 6th repeat i wish to hear something new!!!
Thanks... Back in biz.

She’s certainly getting the practice this morning!
Luckily there are plenty of Kate Bush songs to pick from
If anyone has Bills phone number give him a ring and say the needle is stuck!
Does anyone know just how long that is?
(That's what SHE asked!)
Seems to be a bug in the broadcast software or something... RP has some extravagant sequences sometimes, but playing the same song 10x in a row wasn't on the menu yet...
Does anyone know just how long that is?

At least its stuck on Kate Bush, it could be much worse :
