4 minutes shorter would be just perfect. It's not bad though.
I'm in a hot tub, but still getting shivers from this. Awkward.
wonderful
Oh my glob this song again.
I’m all down for repetitive mantra type songs and his voice is soothing I’ll admit that, but especially with the choir in the background, this song is just flashback city to being stuck in church when the congregation is way too into their shallow boring unoriginal praise song and won’t stop singing the same dang line over and over and over and over and over.
So absolutely triggering for me.

Way too, too, too, too, too, monotonous. Song could be good if it added some verses. Sounds like New Apostolic Reformation trance music from Jesus Culture.

I keep waiting to hear Lou Gramm to kick in...
Maybe it's Foreigner when when they're much older and playing in Branson.
Wait, arent these the lyrics from Foreigners song?
ok ok, I get it, enough already, let's move on
This one's new to me. I'm glad to have been introduced to it. Feelin' the vibe.
I liked it until they added the Foreigner bit
Soooooooo long……….
Awful when Foreigner did it, worse now.

getting Orville Peck Kalahari Down vibes, almost like he countrified parts of this

Know your niche is an ride it if it works for you. Not my cup of tea though.

To my uneducated ear - sounds very much like Scottish Gaelic. Define shades of Runrig...

A foreigner song?
Some wires got crossed somewhere with that English "translation" 😄
Snore ...
At the end with the New Delhi Mass Choir? Anyway, it is a wonderful, peaceful song
sounds like David Bowie doing some experimental song.
Meditation enhanced by beautiful sound. I enjoyed going there...
I give this one the highest possible rating on RP. Aural perfection.
No matter what race, religion, Foreigner song, or universe we come from.. We all need to know what love is.
I would have (I did) think this was Celtic until the tabla started. Thank you again RP for the world of music.
I love this track and have listened to it on insight timer—what fun to hear it on RP!
Thanks, William!

There is quiet power in chanting, whether Gregorian or sanscrit. Nice to find it here at 4:30 AM.
sooooo repetitively boring
What a beautiful surprise
Can you play Songs like
Shantala Hare Krishna too
Love Radio paradise
I instantly 'felt' this. Maybe because his voice sounds like my late Father's whom I haven't heard since I was 6..so nice
thanks for the musical taste of DJ, this is one of the best tracks to perform this concept without losing the music itself.
My small effort of googling the sanskrit words to make a translation yielded:
"Beautiful embodied (born, corporeal) woman ... something something .... forlorn."

Well, it's indian mantra style music. The monotony is kind of like the whole point of it... but you're free of course to like or dislike it.

Surprisingly not-annoying. Solid 8 on my little judgement scale.
Shut up already! Sheesh.
Weird little guilty pleasure song. I wouldn't even try to tell someone "Listen to this!", but it makes me sit back and smile while listening on headphones. :-)
OH SWEET VISHNU WHY IS THERE NO PSD BUTTON IN ITUNES

Kind of my point. Jesus Culture is closer to being Hare Krishna than to being Christian.

Translating the Sanskrit offers a rather different take on the lyrics:
"I will not be able to do the same."
"I will not be able to do the same."
After experiencing Krishna Das' Kirtan performance, I have a greater appreciation for this. Embarrassed to say I gave it a 3 to begin with. Up to an 8 now.

At least there's no one saying it's a rip-off of a Pink Floyd song.
10 out of 10 for an unexpected foray into a cheesy Foreigner 80s overplayed hit. Basically, it gets points for being adorable and unexpected.
But overall, it's more like a 6.

I really liked it, until it broke out in another band's sincere and passionate but by now somewhat overused song. Maybe one artist should not so blatantly sample/cover/steal other tracks.
There are many better songs in this genre! Not my taste!

I love this. I have it on a compilation somewhere. I find it very restful.

No, It's a Foreigner song.

Have you ever just lost yourself for a moment while gazing at a Sunset, (or anything else)?
That is meditation.
Chanting is, well, chanting. It helps some people, but not everyone. Not me, for instance.
I think meditation is the purest gift you can give yourself.
:-)
I could never get into the meditation scene because I absolutely hate endless repetition. It makes me angry.

It kind of sneaks up on you. It's only about halfway through that you realize—SPOILER ALERT!—it's a Foreigner cover.
At some point I looked up from what I was doing, frowned at the speaker, and came to the page just to give this a two. Then I listened awhile longer and said "Well, I guess they won me over" and changed it to a 7. Still broadening those horizons. :-)

I was surprised to hear the Foreigner line, but really liked the anthemic chant-like bits
"I want to know what love is... I want you to show me"
Yikes! It's Foreigner!!!

Very nice. Great voice. Would love to hear more South Asian inspired music.
First !
Now that I have staked my claim,
this is an interesting bunch of FOREIGNERs.
Sounds like when we sing in my church,
but definitely different.
I wonder if I could get away with having
these English lyrics sung in my church.
I think my name would have to be Bart Simpson.
Ina Gada Da Vida.
Translation : In God, there is life.
