I'm 72, live 20 miles from Yeovil, and this is the first I've heard of Pineapple Thief.... I'm instantly in love with them, which means 13 more albums to buy! This is why I love R.P. 👌

Last concert I saw before COVID in Cambridge Mass. Very intimate show, seating and standing by the stage. Knew every song, every lyric, what an outstanding performance! Good to see Gavin Harrison again since the PT days. He is by far one of the best drummers in the world right now. Neal Peart thought so!

It's a view of El Capitan in the Guadalupe Mountain National Park from along U.S. 62 in western Texas. Really beautiful place.

In your opinion (I interpreted the cryptic code as such) he's a great drummer? Leave your opinion out of this. He is a great drummer, dancing to an internal rhythm, best I can tell.

I thought this sounded like a Porcupine Tree that I hadn't heard before, so clicked open Radio Paradise and read the name as Porcupine Thief. Then as I read the comments I saw it was 'Pineapple' and noted others saw the similarity. As it went on though it did take on a distinct sound, which I like.

More than a similarity, I guess: Gavin Harrison has played drums with both bands.  I believe he plays drums on this album.

Been seeing a lot of these 'newer' prog rock bands with my dad ever since I got him hooked on Porcupine Tree almost ten years ago now. The Pineapple Thief is definitely one of our favorites, we go and see them together every time they're around and we've seen the crowd grow every single time as well. Great little band, love them!

Yes, and John Helliwell (Supertramp and on Momentary Lapse of Reason) on clarinet.
