Hopefully, your congestion has cleared up by now.
The world will survive, and thrive in positivity as long as we listen , support, care and show up for this music, and, each other.
Much mention of Nick Drake similarities. I'm kinda thinking of Clive Carroll myself.
Had to check to see if this was a Nick Drake song I hadn't heard. I've been on a bit of a Nick Drake bender lately. I see I'm not the first person to think this was Nick. Yes, indeed, a very good thing.
i was at a street festival in the former east germany, one of the stall-holders was playing this album. i couldn't walk past without asking who it was. He wrote down the name for me. He also said that i was the 3rd person to ask that day!
i like it...

reminds me of John Martin I think , and perhaps Nick Drake and a couple of others.
love it. Very mellow.
Very David Francie also.
very nice.
I remember this from a Scrubs episode.  They picked some good music for that show.

Don't it seem like Nick Drake is playing a Elliot Smith tune?
I'd pay to hear that.

Rest In Peace, gentlemen.
c.

Lovely song! Parts of it remind me of Keep Me in Your Heart by Warren Zevon.
He shares my birthday. For that reason alone I will rate this a 9.
As others have noted cut from the  Nick Drake and John Martyn clothe isn't he?  And that, that ain't a bad thing.  Feels all right.  ๐Ÿ˜‰
Sounds a bit like John Martyn, a RP favorite of Bill
This guy gets a consistent 1 from me, so I'm skipping to something better...

Rather Nick Drake-ish, no?

Very much so.
But is it intentional or coincidental?
Sounds good, in either case.
Lovely gentle tune

I can think of many reasons why  singers might want to emulate Leonard Cohen.
I don't think Alexi Murdoch is one of them.

Yes to what the previous posts mention, very Nick Drake-ish and it IS a good thing indeed.

Listening as I work I thought this was a Nick Drake song I hadn't heard before.
starting with a 7... new to me!
Yeah...definitely reminiscent of Nick Drake...which is cool.
Nice track. I'm liking it a lot.
Never heard of Alexi Murdoch but will investigate further.
Thanks Bill
