You didn't know what I was up to
Asked you out in my little round way
Down down shooting me down
You held me tight
So I wouldn't cry but you
You don't remember
You don’t remember
We all remember different sides
I knew then what I know now
I may lose it for a second now and then
I knew then what I know now
I may lose it for a second now and then
We grew from one to another
Learning what we would fall into
Attraction tells when what want most
Found found heard where I’d gone
Some things had changed
But others stayed the same and you
You had your stories
Some different stories I left behind
I knew then what I know now
I may lose it for a second now and then
I knew then what I know now
I may lose it for a second now and then
I don't really understand the 2nd paragraph. Maybe they don't want their life outside of music to play a part, deemed by others, in their music. Maybe they have reasons to not be known. Maybe they're just private and believe, as professionals, that their music stands on its own. Thre are so many reasons that don't preclude being professionals.
And for all we know, they mentor other musicians all the time.
Some artists prefer to showcase their art, not their personal lives to cultivate an audience.

I like this more every time I hear it. The song that is.
Artist Biography by Marcy Donelson
Despite a Scandinavian name and a sound that could pass for Nordic pop, Sjowgren ("show grin") is an indie pop trio from California. A retro-soul edge is provided in large part by the unaffected alto of their lead vocalist, who, along with bandmates, prefers to remain anonymous. After releasing an EP of demos in 2015, their EP win'20 arrived in 2020.
Sjowgren emerged early in 2015, when they uploaded a few self-recorded, guitar-based songs that were collected for the Demos EP that June. The same month, they released the summery single "Seventeen," which offered a fleshed-out, full-band arrangement. The song was featured in a commercial for an online marketplace early the next year. Sjowgren's follow-up single "Now & Then" hit streaming charts in early 2017. A year later, they returned with a pair of stand-alone tracks, "Beginners" and "Better Off," before re-emerging in 2020 with the self-released EP win'20.
