I was brave and I love my cuz
She was wavin' that dope man up
Banged a mom 'cause I see no future
Sat her down when I poured that tea
I don't know 'cause I got big temper
Stick close to my rainbow side
Candy corn and that dancing leopard
That's all folks, that's all

She's the kinda girl who make you want to go faster now
She's the kinda girl who make you steal your child
She's the kind of girl, she's in the here ever after now
There's a cry for help and I don't deny

I don't know, but it's finally just one more mile
Peaches are sold and all giving up on that Humpty style
At the Caldwell, cross from black top
She's Eurasian met her at the Quick Stop
We danced at Tito's Go Go
Girlfriend's back now, she's gone solo

She's the kinda girl who make you want to go faster now
She's the kinda girl who make you steal your child
She's the kind of girl, she's in the here ever after now
There's a cry for help and I don't deny

Wet my beak and I give it up to that drugstore nose
So unique and I live it up till that liquor store close
In the laundry queen ballistic
Mangy face with the messed up lipstick
My thing is blacked out loco
Smoke and tears, now take my photo

She's the kinda girl who make you want to go faster now
She's the kinda girl who make you steal your child
She's the kind of girl, she's in the here ever after now
There's a cry for help and I don't deny
I don't deny

Bangin' hard with those daddy issues
Hanging out with that Chevron dude
Knocked her out so I let her kiss you
Redneck fights, I Hercules bit you
Big box, hoppin' on detox
Fast food trash when you're livin' in the crosswalk
Catch me out like motel hoes do
Blood on fries, now that's my go-to

She's the kinda girl who make you want to go faster now
She's the kinda girl who make you steal your child
She's the kind of girl, she's in the here ever after now
There's a cry for help and I don't deny
I don't deny

And why did you contribute yours....

Two guesses from me: (1) he wrote them and (2) he doesn't think they're pointless.

Sad story about the two of them -- he and his "cousin".  (Song lyrics.)  Hope they find a better life.
This doesn't sound interesting. Kinda deja vu.

No matter what one's opinion is. This seems to be a fact:
"With over 100 million records sold worldwide, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the best-selling bands of all time.
They are the most successful band in the history of alternative rock,
with the records for most number-one singles (14), most cumulative weeks
at number one (85) and most top-ten songs (25) on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart." - Wikipedia

So give these kids a break, they may find success one day. ;-)

Popularity isn't a good measure of taste. I think most people like McDonalds over other , better, foods.
Oh, not this again!
I can't explain why I like this group -- I'm OK with punk, and the vocalist is an OK singer, but their chemistry just really appeals to me. They're a tight group, and I just do not get tired of their sound.

I have a pathological dislike for this band, so I am sad to see this new album take up precious space in the RP rotation.
I wonder how he remembers all his pointless words.

I understand that this is the first record they cut without Rick Rubin. It shows. Can't say I am a fan.

No that was the previous album from 2016 (The Getaway). This is Rubin’s work.
Nice to see something new from them, but this is "meh".

It's getting a bit overplayed this month.

Meh
In describing his writing process for this album - and perhaps every RHCP album - Anthony Kiedis had this to say: "I had a unique situation in so much as I didn't have the luxury of editing or censoring. Whatever came I had to make use of." I think this is why their music is so homogenous and the lyrics utterly nonsensical.
They need to call it a career.
this is pretty bad
