I received the book "I Will Meet You In The Bathroom" a few years ago. I couldn't put it down. The book of memories and stories by all the musicians in NYC scene in 2000 when that new era of music started, The Strokes, Yeah Yeah's, TV on the Radio, Interpol, LCD Sound, Ryan Addams etc. A fun read. Found it hard to believe that when The Strokes went to the UK for their first ever tour there, that they ran across Pete Doherty of The Libertines to find out that they were started in London to be the British Strokes! I really don't hear much likeness except maybe some of the guitar work. Regardless, I love BOTH bands and highly recommend that book. I may have to read it again. It made me huge fans of all of them especially Karen O.

This totally reminds me of the early 2000s, going with a standard 6, might go up or down next time. Long Live RP and New Music Saturday!!
