You told me to let go and all I can do is try
I'm running in circles, tired of keeping my head high
You told me to bury my feelings dead I'm alright
Oh, acting my whole life now I am losing this fight

Let go, let go
Don't try to follow
Let go, let go

And it feels alive
Breathing under water
Trying to hold on and get back on my feet
And it still feels alive breathing under water
While all the fires are burning
Inside of me

You told me don't worry, just stay there, there's no need to hide
But running away always seems so much easier than fight
You told me to drown all my feelings, God damn I tried
But who am I to judge on what's wrong or what's right?

Let go, let go
Don't try to follow
Let go, let go

And it feels alive
Breathing under water
Trying to hold on and get back on my feet
And it still feels alive breathing under water
While all the fires are burning
Inside of me

Me, oh...
Me, oh...

And it feels alive
Breathing under water
Trying to hold on and get back on my feet
And it still feels alive breathing under water
While all the fires are burning
Inside of me

And it feels alive
Breathing under water
Trying to hold on and get back on my feet
And it still feels alive breathing under water
While all the fires are burning
Inside of me

Her voice reminds me of the (male) lead singer in Turin Brakes.
Reminds one of Joan Baez. Lovely voice.
It sounds like a lot of other songs, but still nice. Made me stop and look up the artist.
OK, after another listen, I like it!!  Thank You RP!
Impressed! This is one of the songs/voices which make me forget what I was doing, switch to the RP tab, rate and read more.
It is also quite cool to see that RP finds young artists from my home country and plays them next to the greatest artists of all time.
Reminds me a lot of Ben Howard. Or at least the songwriting style is similar.
!new!

I liked the second half of this, after it picks up some pacing.  Interesting, if not completely unique or profound.  I picked up some hints of Lorde...We're On Each Others Team perhaps?

Funny. I liked it better with less instrumentation.

IDK? I'll have to listen to it a few more times. I rated it a ten, to get more play!
