I don't wanna talk right now
I just wanna watch TV
I'll stay in the pool and drown
So I don't have to watch you leave
I put on Survivor just to watch somebody suffer
Maybe I should get some sleep
Sinking in the sofa while they all betray each other
What's the point of anything?
All of my friends are missing again
That's what happens when you fall in love
You don't have the time, you leave them all behind
You tell yourself, "It's fine, you're just in love"
Don't know where you are right now
Did you see me on TV?
I'll try not to starve myself
Just because you're mad at me
And I'll be in denial for at least a little while
What about the plans we made?
The internet's gone wild watching movie stars on trial
While they're overturning Roe v. Wade
Now all of my friends are missing again
'Cause that's what happens when you fall in love
You don't have the time, you leave them all behind
And you tell yourself, "It's fine, you're just in love"
And I don't get along with anyone
Maybe I'm the problem
Maybe I'm the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I'm the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I'm the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I'm the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I'm the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I'm the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I'm the problem
Baby, I, baby, I, baby, I'm the problem
Baby, I, baby, I, baby, I'm the problem
Baby, I, baby, I, baby, I'm the problem

She reminds me of someone who can't be bothered.
Billie Eilish seem to be ever more present on Radio Paradise and, every time she's on, I have to actually stop and read the lyrics along. Which alone is a good indication (among an ocean of others) that supporting this station is one very good thing I do with my money.
I am not sure I like her music or her singing style yet, but I certainly respect her work and the depth of thought behind it.
Everyone, great or not, started from somewhere. I suspect that those who, later on, actually went on to be great did not start from an obvious place and did not go with the flow. They had something to say and a good way to say it. So we listened.
Only time will tell, but Ms Eilish's begin looks like the right one.
8:
β 6 because it's definitely not bad.
β +1 because of the social value of the lyrics.
β +1 because it's definitely not bad _and_ this will piss off some hater.

I am really not all that impressed with this artist.
It wouldn't hurt my feelings if she were played less often. But it hasn't yet gotten to the point where hearing her annoys me enough to seek out something else to listen to. If she continues to be played in rotation at the current rate, that time will no doubt come.
Just Meh...

Billie gets such hard time, and I'm sure it's 'cause "she's a girl", but she's no more of a girl than Kate Bush was back in the 70's

This is really not that bad, is it?

To me, it rather seems that "boy meets girl, they fall in love and live happily ever after" is a dream nowadays.
Not to imply relationships are simply easy to maintain (we all know they are not), it takes hard work for both parties (assuming it is between two individuals); but, it is a quite possible goal - it just takes time, patience, understanding - and most of all, flexibility to accept your and your partner's flaws and defects - and work together to reconcile any differences, to move on with your lives' together as a committed couple for better "together future"...
Is that too much to ask from all of us?
Working towards that outcome is worthwhile - life is short, make the best of what you have around you - do not waste it with selfish thoughts about just "you" - as "you" are not alone in this world. Life is short, find a trustful partner (and - be trustful yourself,) to lead your lives to a better future - for all...

I am not a huge fan of most of the current pop music stars. They all seem to have too much focus on the marketing/star part and less about the music. The result is bland, bubble gum, disposal music.
Billie Eilish, and her brother Finneas O'Connell, seem to be the absolute anthesis to this. Time will tell, but I do enjoy their moody, original sound!

Ugh. So good...and then the crowd. Pineapple on a pizza. All that goodness done in.
like this ...topical
Whoa. Grabbed my attention for sure. Strong emotions here. Itβs a powerful communication.
I think I like this song, maybe I'm the problem?
Emotive. Plaintive. I like it
I was going to give Billie her 2nd positive rating, then the audience kicked in. Close, but no cigar.
