A very George Harrison Beatles vibe.
I would say it specifically sounds like an homage to George Harrison's songs Isn't it a Pity or All Things Must Pass. I was sure I was hearing one of those songs when this one started.
Its very nice...

The name is a reference to an anecdote about St. Francis, how one day while on a walk with friends, he stopped to give a sermon to a flock of birds. The birds gave him their full attention, only leaving when he had made the sign of the cross and had finished speaking. Francis then accused himself of negligence for never preaching to the birds before.
Absolutely brilliant name.
Dunno. Think if I was a in a band and everyone said we reminded them of the Beatles, I'd be quite happy with that...
Well, sorta.
I knew the Beatles,
The Beatles were friends of mine.
Birdtalker,
You're not the Beatles.
😁
1. Definite George Harrison feel to the melody.
2. Read the lyrics... they're spot on (and depressing once you think about it). The vocal delivery /melody is questionable in that it doesn't quite match the gravity of the lyrics. Or maybe that was done on purpose?
Lyrics for me are the highlight of the song versus the melody, as others have noted it's kind of a Beatles/Harrison rip-off.
I agree. The lyrics are really really good, and relevant. The band name is a nod to respect of nature in religion, which also lends a note of gravity to the whole vibe of this song. Maybe we need a Johnny Cash cover? Anyway this band is yet another RP find, and I'll be listening for more of them.

Isn't it a pity?
Isn't it a shame?
Being hurdy gurdy.
I'm hearing bloody Hear'Say...

Beatlesque Yes but I thought it was Sloan
Love Sloan! Great, great east coast Canadian band
Where I wanna be, she may be...
Quite astute, Name That Tune Commander Data.
Where I wanna be, she may be...
Thought this was another new Beatles song created from old demos and AI....
A very George Harrison Beatles vibe.
