Love it, my first 4 album purchases ever were Gordon Lightfoot (Don Quixote, Sundown, Cold on the Shoulder & Summertime Dream), recently re-bought all on CD. I prefer the original version though, still a 9
Summertime Dream is my ALL time favorite album. None other even close. He captured my CANADA in the soul of that album. Saw him live on his very final tour. He was very old for the first few minutes but became incandescent for the rest of the 3 hour show.

Amazing, consistent, songwriter. Bob Dylan inducted him into the Canadian Hall of Fame - kind of says it all.

Lightfoot is a classic singer/songwriter of the old school. No schtick, just good tunes and a great voice. This isn't my favorite song of his, but I love hearing him.
