Awesome addition to the playlist!
"Look how I can compose a nonsensical text for myself and look as if I've swallowed all the wisdom in the world."
One plus point for the second half (it's worth sticking around until the end). -> 3

I'm a long-time RP listener, and like a few listeners have commented on this thread & on one or two others I've seen this week, I'm also noting an uptick of rap here - and I'm glad for it (and pleasantly surprised).

Don't get me wrong, rap did not resonate with me in my formative years, so this isn't nostalgia for me (plus the songs I've been hearing are all very, very new); rather, I feel like those RP's been cultivating for us have insight, depth, meaning & musical/artistic merit like so many others we listen to regularly here.

Why wouldn't they warrant a turn at the mic on our stage?

Gen X total energy reply: I KNOW, RIGHT?

I don't mind some rap. It has to be something that surprises me and gets me to listen. This does.
There's a sample in here that I know I know but I can't dig it out. It'll come to me at 3 a.m. I'm sure.

Edit: not the song I know but here it is.

I tried.  I really tried.  But I don’t like it and I’m not ashamed to say it.
It almost feels like RP is either being politically correct or over compensating  by playing alot more rap music. Bad rap music...it's old sounding, Boring. Same ole, same ole.

I know it's important as well as difficult to keep evolving musical offerings as to keep relevant and draw in new listeners.

But there has to be better offerings than what your are playing.

Wow this is crazy good.  I’ve never heard him before .  Thanks
End of this raises it up to a 7. I gave the rest a 6.5. Now I want some fried catfish.
Christ, some of you need to get out more.

8 from me. Might bump it up on next listen.
I mean, not my favorite, but I've even found sometimes genres I may not normally like - Country, Rap - contain the odd song which isn't bad. Also, I gave this a high rating to annoy the Negative Nelsons and Nellies who are "Ewww why is Bill playing this?"

BILL IS PLAYING THIS BECAUSE HE'S WHAT WE ALL MISS. A DJ that actually experiments and expands. If you don't like this, there are thousands of mainstream radio stations for you to choose from.
While I was a Chef at The Kitchen, (-- Kimbal Musk is actually chill, btw), a lot of the crew were way into LL. But those were different times,.. LL;s still  COOL though!
Too much text? :D
My second skip in less than half an hour... Are you sure that this is the place for this kind of music?

I am a listener of Radio Paradise since 2002, and I always loved the "eclecticity" of the music selection. But I have "music boundaries" that were always respected in the selection.

Of course, these are MY boundaries, but I have the feeling that certain genres as reguetón or rap didn't suit the spirit of Radio Paradise... till now.
Love the vibe. Dig the beat. Mo please!

C'mon Bill stop with the rap.

For better or for worse, rap/hip hop is the most widely listened-to form of contemporary popular music and has been for many years. RP's foundational ethos is eclecticism and diversity and it would be remiss in its mission if its big tent did not include at least a sampling of the sort of music most younger people around the world are listening to. That's not to say RP must play the most recent rap hits or showcase the current stars of the genre as listeners can hear that anywhere. I have to believe that there are corners of the rap universe that would appeal to RP listeners with open minds and open ears (this particular track being a case in point). I'm no fan of rap but I echo a previous poster: more please!
Had no idea LL Cool J was still releasing music.
I'm all for a mix of music on the Main Mix.

Nice - I will have more please.

What a lazy take.
Yay, new(ish) LL! Loving the end section.
