Moving on

Within 24 hours I will be setting my self down in my new home...in Costa Rica. I owe a major kudos to RP for my choice of where to live in CR. Remember those give aways, a full week for two to Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica? No, I never won any of those either. However, in 2004 I had my curiosity piqued about CR and was looking for a location to go to in order to host a retreat I had in mind. Voila! The give away came up the same week. I called the folks who, at that time, owned Cashew Hill and thanked them for their kind donation. They, of course, were avid RP fans themselves. I asked if they were capable of holding a mid-sized group of people, they responded yes, so I told them I wanted to book the entire place for a week, three months hence. The retreat was wonderful yadayada. Once I arrived, however, I fell in love with the Caribé area, the people, the food, the weather, the beaches, coconut palms, fresh fish from the sea and on and on. I knew that I had found the place that I wanted to settle into. 9 years later and that dream is coming to fruition. Who knows if I will stay. Life is full of exciting twists and turns. But for now, I am looking forward to this move to Puerto Viejo.
BillG....thanks for being a part of what brought me to Costa Rica.

Being the first winner of the giveaway, buzz and I talked moving after our visit, it was so beautiful and the lifestyle was so easy going. it just wasn't in the cards for us.
