So cold and windy out there and I still got more ice to chop and the back entrance needs to be cleaned before the Norâeaster hits on Turdsday. Aw freak it. Not going outside.

Sometimes what the public wants is not what the public gets. And what is the lesson we learned boys and girls?
Be careful of what you wish for you just might get it.
The main reason I have been a long-time monthly contributor to Radio Paradise is that the music is not interrupted by commercials.
When I purchased a new car a few years ago it came with a free three-month subscription to SiriusXM. I did not sign up for a subscription primarily because of the commercials. Granted they were commercials for other SiriusXM channels, but still commercials.
That is the way I feel about the commercials on Radio Paradise for Radio 2050. They are not what I am supporting Radio Paradise for. Please stop.
Dinner party tonight. Better Half⢠is decorating, and I'm cooking.
Mushroom (many kinds) farro soup
Sauted cauliflower smothered in tomato, capers, pine nuts
Cod en papillote with lemon, fennel bulb, zucchini, and zata'ar
Steamed chocolate/espresso cake with berries and homemade whipped cream
Last minute addition: garlic bread from Safeway on sale for half price (yesterday's loaves)
One of the attendees is vegetarian, so his fish packet has some tofu instead.

snow last night, rained all day, and the temp will drop below freezing tonight.
That means the car will be frozen shut tomorrow.
