Something for the rag and bone man
"Over my dead body"
Something big is gonna happen
"Over my dead body"
Someone's son or someone's daughter
"Over my dead body"
This is how I end up getting sucked in
"Over my dead body"
I'm gonna go to sleep
Let this wash all over me
We don't wanna wake monster taking over
"Tiptoe round, tie him down"
We don't want the loonies taking over
"Tiptoe round, tie them down"
May pretty horses
Come to you as you sleep
I'm gonna go to sleep
Let this wash all over me

Such a high-energy track! Hail to the Thief has to be one of their best projects other than OK Computer
Ready to hear The Smile on RP - a bit shocked there has been nothing to date..? William?

is this a Jonathan Swift ode?
I'm sorry, I just can't stand Radiohead. It's cool if they're your jam. I appreciate the Skip button each time RP overplays Radiohead. Carry on.

Never been a better cover. Possibly never been a better song in rock music.

I'm not necessarily a huge Radiohead fan, but this song really gets after it! Now and then, they hit one out of the park!

I've tried so many times to warm to this band -- and this the song that makes me think they can rock.
But ultimately, I end up pressing "skip".
But ultimately, I end up pressing "skip".
Praises, at last a rocking RH track.
I am continually amazed by all that's going on in this mad, dizzying track! So deceptive, how it's JAMMING before one even knows it... I'm also continually reaching to CRANK THE VOLUME as it plays!
"Go to Sleep" and "There There" are the two "surviving" songs from the album "Hail to the Thief" from the five songs previously selected by RP-Prodution since 2003. But something is missing here.
There is another essential song from this album that has been forgotten (say this way): "Where I End And You Begin. (The Sky Is Falling In.)"
They can not all be here, right? Okay Chief. :))
.
And with that, I'm going off to sleep.
Thanks RP for a day of great music.

The more I hear Radiohead...the more I like Radiohead. This band is a flurry of memorable atmospheres and transcends beyond the mundane trivalities of life. Let's just say...I like this. Period.

Whoah, ya know, with a bit of a buzz on, this can be a mighty mind-bending thing! Love the guitars, the timing, tinge of electric passion
Thanks God, I'm not alone in this.
I have no idea why I rated this so low before. Solid 7 for me.
I so desire a banjitar.
I remember jamming this when it came out; I was living The Dream in Tokyo, partying every night in Shimokitazawa, no care at all!
I discovered this song about 3 years ago and it is one of my all time favorites. The guitar is soo good.

Such a nice guitar hook. Then Yorke opens his yawp and my rectal itch kicks up.

There is not a single day, when Radiohead is NOT playing at least 5 times a day. The same goes for Led Zeppelin, Natalie Merchant and Calexico. Thank you, Radio Paradise! I can't wait for the next plays of these great artists.
Every weeknight my phone alarm goes off with this song as the ringtone to let me know it's past bedtime. I hate going to sleep!

I wonder how many folk in the UK the right side of 30 know what a 'rag and bone man' is? You so rarely get them on city streets these days. What always fascinated me about them as a kid was the strangled cries they made - it's amazing the noises that you can derive from the original phrase "RAG AND BONE!". A bit like newspaper sellers in kiosks.

My most listened to song of 2004
Love u,love u,love u...
This song never fails to move me... in the best possible way, of course!
Go to..... somewhere else.... having just listened to Yardbirds 'Shapes of Things', I know which I prefer!

Thom Yorke's vocal stylings may occasionally sound similar to those of David Gates, and maybe because they're both sort of "mellow" bands. I've heard or read that comparison before. I don't personally hear very much similarity - especially in the lyrics - but that comparison was probably made by a critic from Rolling Stone or NME, and is just brought up over and over.
Listen to Everything I Own, then Fake Plastic Trees. I think it really applies to those two songs. Both great songs. These are very similar, I wouldn't go so far as to say it's an homage, but pretty close. I say that in a good way.

OK Computer may have been perfection.
But that's not to say they didn't produce some great music after that.
There are some wicked trax on Hail to the Thief.
And "In Rainbows" is an incredible album.
It battles OK as my favourite Radiohead record.
No matter how much I listen to Rainbows, I can't seem to get bored of it.
They continue put out fantastic music.
Even Thom Yorke's solo album was one of my favourite albums of that year.
I can listen to it over and over again.
What talent!
