EXCELLENT!!  I never heard of them before. That is why we come here, to be introduced to new music.  Thanx RP!

I agree with this :)
side note: there are more interesting and better tunes from them, this is not their classical style
Crazy cover but too noodly.
If you like this try listening to a another similar great band called Get The Blessing
I am digging the bass on this track.
And that album cover...wow, just wow!

Me too. I've been listening to a lot of Weather Report lately.

Ditto, that's who I thought it was as I was running water, doing dishes with this quietly in the background.  I like it, and the bass reminds me of the bassist who stepped in after Jaco died, I think his name is Dexter Johnson IIRC.  Weather Report was one of my favorite live bands.  I really miss the new ground they constantly tilled.

I think this sits in the love/hate section. It's a no from me, sorry.

NEVER be sorry for your opinion.
Very reminiscent of  jazz fusion band The Yellowjackets.
Very abstract, I don't know how I feel about it. It's like deconstructed jazz, I didn't even think that was possible.

Very nice. Dig that album cover. And what a great segue to Ian Brown, Kiss Ya Lips - didn't even notice where one song ended and the next started.

Manhard Eicher, wasn't it? I think Pat Metheny originally recorded for them. They put out great quality stuff.
Yep you guys got it. Metheny put out some awesome records on the ECM label back in the day. Check out Bright Size Life, The White Album, and Offramp. I had to check in to make sure this wasn't Jaco.

my thoughts exactly. I get alot of Zawinul out of it. but the bass could go jaco or victor wooten.
Al DiMeola meets Bela Fleck... minus the fretboard wizardry? not bad.
Reminds me a lot of Weather Report.
Does it EVER end?

Just don't aim in the direction of people or fragile glasswork when you need to sneeze
Super saucy bass work here. Great stuff
the greatest thing of this band are the lyrics.. something like surrealistic and non-sense.. very hilarious!

quite the intro, lets see for the rest of the tune........Hmmmmm lets just call it a seque (sp?) song.

If you like this, check out "Flim & the BB's". As I understand it, the first band ever to be recorded digitally, on prototype recording equipment from 3M. The album never made it to CD, though, because the equipment was destroyed before CD's were invented
Whatchu Talkin' 'bout Willis! I have a couple of Flim & the BB's CD's. Good stuff. If you want to show off your system especially, with it's punchy drums and bass. Back when DDD CD's were popular, seemed that everybody felt compelled to make maximum use of their dynamic range, and it lent itself to some great "demo CDs". Maybe I'll upload some Flim! -mark
This is interesting stuff. It's hard to describe except in the sense of music being unwound or unraveled. I'm truely at a loss for decent verbage here...

Wow the Jake likes it. (pimp) But how does one pronounce the album name :?:
The bass player sounds like Stanley Clarke in his Return to Forever days, doesn't it? Excellent stuff!
Energetic rhythms contrast against a mellow melodic thread--very cool! This has been a great set.
Mustasi, very good song! JJFlash, you're a real pheegaw
Well, today Mustasì went on air for the first time, and no one commented and/or ranked this song... I even didn't get to hear Bill say "Elio e le storie tese"... better luck next time, maybe :)
Hi Bill! I'm so happy you added this one to your supreme playlist. Hope everyone on RP will enjoy this song as much as I do! :) Ciao! JJ
