Follow follow the sun
And which way the winds blow
When this day is done
Breath, breath in the air
Set your intentions
Dream with care
Tommorow's a new day for everyone
A brand new moon a brand new sun

So follow, follow the sun
The direction of the birds
The direction of love
Breathe, breathe in the air
Cherish this moment
Cherish this breath
Tomorrow's a new day day for everyone
A brand new moon, brand new sun

When you feel life coming down on you, like a heavy weight
When you feel this crazy society adding to the strain
Take a stroll to the nearest water's edge, remember your place
Many moons have risen and fallen long, long before you came
So which way is the wind blowing
What does your heart say

So follow, follow the sun
And which way the wind blows
When this day is done

I've been seeing that "quote" floating around the internet for a while; it's actually a combination of two separate comments which Churchill had made years apart.

“Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy.” —Perth, Scotland, May 28, 1948

and

“The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings. The inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.” —House of Commons, October 22, 1945.

I'm not sure of either quote's relevance to this goofy song; it must have more to do with the thread comments.

General points taken, but goofy isn't a word that comes to mind for describing this song.
Don’t know how to respond to people’s comments. They don’t seem appropriate for a music stream gifter. Please find another route to express your feelings. Art. Painting. Poetry. Find a route to express yourself. I wish you well.
Such a delicious voice.

Winston Churchill thought killing my family was a great idea, and I'm American. Horse's ass is an understatement.

Boy, his voice and style really remind me of JS Ondara, or vice versa. Very nice.
Man - this beautiful song came at a perfect time for me today... I sure needed that!

I think it might have been as simple as Ulises seeing "Bernie" in the song comments and, one pair of bunched panties later, we have a mashup of Churchill quotes that mangles the meaning of the latter.

It is worth noting that Ulises' stated location, 8th Circle, would be the place of punishment for "simple" fraudsters, like counterfeiters, hypocrites, grafters, seducers, sorcerers, and simonists. Sounds like a dedicated Capitalist to me.

Love this tune.  Nicely done.   The guy has an interesting voice.    First heard this in Les Mills Body Flow.
 Winston Churchill spliced commas?

Follow number five.
When this was followed by War on drugs - Lost in a dream I appreciated it more, it's not very good, but much better than Dylan...
Please stop playing this

Probably hard to keep his shorts up with all that vibrato in his voice :^ /
Can't resist, but it reminds me a lot James Yuill - No Surprise, rhythm, chords... but I still like it anyway :-)
what a nice follow up of Colors In The Air — Going Home

Continuing the foot-tapping and head-nodding..nice to feel so nice while I am working {#Whistle}

Still waiting for the 11 to be integrated...{#Good-vibes}
Until then... keeping on flying... {#Daisy}

This song, it centers me. It reminds me where I need to be. And that's even before I pay attention to the lyrics.
Meh....boring filler
Great music.

Lot of negative comments for a positive song.

Go figure.
The best part of this song is when it ends.
Saw him play in Brighton and really enjoyed the set. He is a seriously talented guy and obviously loves what he does. He plays solo surrounded by drums, digis and all sorts and creates splendid soundscapes. What's not to like?

Thanks for that. It's nice to hear tweeters on elegaic songs like this. I quite like the 'rainforest' sounds at the start as well, which sets the aural tone for the song. 7 from the blissed-out naturephile Nottingham jury.
Love it

For a second I thought this was Eddie Vedder.  That is not a compliment.

More and more, a new narrative is emerging…The new battleground is over Snark and Smarm.  Snark is irony, wit, and realism.  Smarm is phony, passive-aggressive, Upworthy defense of existing paradigms and power structures.  Who will win out?  Tom Scocca of Gawker is our general on the Snark side.   If you prefer Smarm, check out Jaron Lanier’s drivel in You Are Not a Gadget.

Nice!  Feels like summer... {#Sunny}

What a fantastic transition from Bruce Cockburn's "Last Night Of The World".

I needed to hear these words today.

thanxs mate... we are probably on the same frequency.... this is an acquired anzac taste about the lands we call home...
Such a pretty song...  Why the severe & abrupt (1 beat) segue into another song (with a much different dynamic going on)?

Dang ... every time this song starts, I think it is going to be Isaac Delusion ... something off the Midnight Sun EP.

Maybe it's just me ... heh.

wunderschöner song
beautiful song....a summer breeze...

The song is quite nice, but I really dislike his voice. He sounds like a goat{#Eek} Such a shame.
I love that cover - who's done it?

Yea, but did you see how many instruments this guy is playing!  You're gonna have a heart attack just trying to smash them all.
nice song... but the best part are the magpies singing at the end! so aussie!
This is a really neat dude and clearly he is quite talented.

Thanks for introducing me to him.

Right... who's counting? New music that doesn't suck! I'll give it a 7, Mr. Clark!! The photo of the dude as a sorta one-man-band, with the drums and didgerydoodoo's up his nose etc etc is rather, er  ...distressing, however.

I saw him in Anchorage, Alaska several years back.  He did a free outdoor concert to support "The Oceans Festival"  I had no idea who he was befor I saw him but I became an instant fan.  Very cool of him to travel all the way up to Alaska, and play for free to support a cause he beilieves in.  He is an amazing talent.

Nice.  Very Eddie Vedder-like voice. Made me look up and take note.
I had the pleasure of seeing him open for R&G at Red Rocks from the 3rd row. Took my  74 yr old mom-she loved it! That base box he plays  was awesome! Highly recommended.

Perhaps you should drag your ignorant ass to one of Xavier's concerts and see him sing, play (slide) guitar, percussion AND digeridoo's all combined in one song...

I bet you would even suck at sitting between all these instruments, let alone trying to play one of them. Yeah... I know...

So between work and another personal experience not going well at the moment... I see a man who can't share and wants to control everything himself.

Time to take a break outside and get a breath of fresh air.  BTW, I really like his music and his messages don't convey my thoughts above at all.  But like I said, bad day.

Good on ya mate!

Inexcusably dim.
Bill played this just to give us all perspective on the degree to which the Byrne-Eno collaboration sucked.

Not a huge Xavier Rudd fan, but I do like this song. Especially the lyric about going to the water when you're down and remembering your place. Just lovely :)
Glad that is over...

Waaay too much vibrato really annoying. Distracts from what could be a good song underneath. 4 for that possibility.
