And the heaven opens everytime she smiles
And when I come to her that's where I belong
Yet I run into her like a river's song
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She's got a fine sense of humour when I'm feeling low down
And when I come to her when the sun goes down
Take away my trouble, take away my grief
Take away my heartache in the night like a theif
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
And I need her in the daytime
I need her
And I need her in the night
I need her
And I want to throw my arms around her
I need her
And kiss and hug her kiss and hug her tight
And when I'm returning from so far away
Gives me some sweet lovin' brightens up my day
Yet it makes me righteous, yes it makes me whole
Yet it makes me mellow down into my soul
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love

Gave it a 9, it's pretty near a perfect song. Couldn't quite consider "Godlike" because Van is such a little pukestocking. But there ya go.
Pukestocking may or may not be a word, but I won't forget it or the images it provoked, and I might just use it. I don't know Van personally, but it is sad to think he has been likened to a pukestocking, and a little one at that. But there ya go.
Used to be a favorite. Now I can't listen to him or Eric Clapton because they're both evil idiots. Rerated ALL their songs SICKO-BARFO. Every one. Will always change stations from now on whenever they come on.
Who cares i can separate their anti vax crap from their music
Such a beautiful song
His voice is so young and youthful. He was just a pup.
And as much as I love the old guy, this is still one of my favs. So quiet, so unlike him. Sometimes less really is more.

Pukestocking. That's my new Word of the Week.
CRAZY Love!! if this isn't my fav Van tune...it's in the top 3 for sure. Long Live RP!!

How do they get their fair share of abuse?
What a strange combo of artists to make that point with. Van and the Dead are nothing alike, not to me. I'm a massive Van fan, don't care for the Grateful Dead at all. But I take your point nonetheless.
May I have Van Morrison on my tape deck" - Poi Dog Pondering
Every song sounds the same, boring.
To each there own I guess.
I'm inclined to agree. Save for "Moondance", there really wasn't one other song I liked by him. Guess it was the voice, or something.
he could be a superstar to any public!
One word from him has 100 times the spirit and soul
than this next-to-ridiculous pony-band guy!
I know I've heard a couple of covers of it over the years too. Anyone know who it is that has done some of them?

Very nice choice! I bet that was a great dance to kick things off.
