In the morning sun, I couldn't tell you
I couldn't tell you so many things
About how much I really love you
About how much you really mean
So far away but it's so easy to see you
When I'm away I want to put my arms around you
And I want to know - do you feel the same way?
'Cause if you do I want to stay forever
And I want to know - do you feel the same way?
'Cause if you do I want to stay forever
With you
So many colors that surround you
Some so bright I can hardly see
A light reflects on all the things that make you real
Things that make you truly free
So far away but it's so easy to see you
When I'm away I want to put my arms around you
And I want to know - do you feel the same way?
'Cause if you do I want to stay forever
And I want to know - do you feel the same way?
'Cause if you do I want to stay forever

In 15 years since your comment, I guess you've gotten pretty comfortable with changing channels here and using PSD button. All of us hear, probably on daily basis, songs we want to skip. It is a feature, not a bug. No other source of music introduced me to more new artists, genres and music styles than Radio Paradise.
I must say that this is the first time I have heard a song on RP that made me want to change the channel.

First time hearing this tune here on anywhere. SWEET.
Bump.
Was wondering if I'd ever hear any Ween on RP... I always liked this simple little tune and thought that it may fit into the musical flow on RP as far as Ween goes :)
I no likey
edit: I can hear the potential, but they are totally selling out on this one...

Not my cup, way too bland.

Yes, this is different from other Ween material.
I once listened to Tried and True--probably didn't understand all the lyrics but thought that musically it rocked--and then downloaded much more of Ween. None of that additional material withstood the test of time.
This has promise.

This was my wedding song. Great song
We likey, likey, WEEN
Aww! I wish I had thought of that. I'm misty just thinking about it.
I'm so happy to see all the good comments about Ween here..I was afraid I would click on the song and see a bunch of Negative remarks..Ween is God ( Or God, Ween, Satan) this is the weakest album in my opinion...but so nice to hear Ween here..I only hear the "serious" stuff played on RP..and I am aware alot(if not most) of Weens material would not work here...
Kinda sounds like Gerry Rafferty, dontcha think?
And that's not a bad thing.
Nice to hear Ween on RP. We could use more in the library I think

This is pretty much the perfect pop song.
Absolutely!
I second everything Space Cowboy said. I was lucky
enough to catch Ween at Bowdoin College in Maine.
Great show, high energy and kick a** tunes!
Wow! Ween! Awesome!!
This was my wedding song. Great song
We likey, likey, WEEN
this song always brightens my mood
Oh yay! I nearly uploaded this one myself. As with most of the songs on White Pepper that try to imitate other artists, I believe this is the one that's supposed to sound like REM.
Just listen to that opening chord and those harmonies.
not my fav but a good one. this album is a little more mellow. bananas and blow is one of my favs.
The universe was in a good mood the day WEEN was created. We are truly blessed at this moment.
the art work on the cover is beautiful
This is pretty much the perfect pop song.
I am totally amazed. Ween at its best. Some people call them a novelty act. Talk about misunderstanding! Ween is more of a homage to everything resembling pop music! Everything they do, is done with the outmost respect to the masters at hand. Vocal harmonies rivaling The Beach Boys, tune smithing with Paul McCartney lurking in the shadows. Guitar mayhem that could make Jimmy Page blush.
Listen to albums like Chocolate and Cheese, White Pepper. Or GodWeenSatan: The Oneness for that matter. Check out songs like Baby Bitch, Birthday Boy or the 70s stadium hard rock mayhem of Dr. Rock.
And they even do excellent country as well! The album 12 Country Greats has been praised even by hard core traditionalists as an excellent country record.
Ween a novelty act? That's a contradiction in terms. They have been around for about 20 years now, so they aren't much of a novelty anymore. But yes, they do use humor in their music, but who cares as long as the music is as good as it is? Too many bands and artists who take themselves too serious anyway...
And did I mention that they are totally awesome live?
