When you were here before
Couldn't look you in the eye
You're just like an angel
Your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
I wish I was special
You're so fuckin' special
But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here
I don't care if it hurts
I wanna have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul
I want you to notice
When I'm not around
You're so fuckin' special
I wish I was special
But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here
Oh, oh
She's running out the door
She's running out
She run, run, run, run
Run
Whatever makes you happy
Whatever you want
You're so fuckin' special
I wish I was special
But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here
I don't belong here

I'd rather eat glass while listening to Willie and Julio sing To All The Girls I've Loved Before, followed by Paul Anka singing Havin My Baby.
Absolutely f**king horrendous.
For what it's worth,I agree. Oh,and I would rather hear "Yummy,Yummy,Yummy" by The 1910 Fruitgum Company or "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro than this pretentious dreck.Fortunately,Radiohead righted themselves after the overrated "The Bends" when they put out the superb "OK Computer."

funny how someone can hate so much what another loves.
i think it's a classic and find it hard to call "the worst song ever written" when so many like it.

this is a terribly horrible song, but the lounge singer, Richard Cheese does a wonderful big band jazz version of it!
all this blather over the F word

Indeed. Creep is Crap.

Though I'd heard that part of the song, I always thought I heard it wrong since, beyond needless, it's so very useless. Radiohead's intended audience may comprise the young or poorly educated -- people who need to sprinkle their speech with empty emphasizers due to an inability to select more expressive words. The songwriter certainly lacks the ability.
I don't think I've ever heard the "radio version" since, in my country, there's never any need to filter English-language lyrics. (You should hear the foreign rap songs aired in Burger King.) But frankly, I'd never heard of Radiohead until I started listening to Radio Paradise, so I'm not even sure they're played here.
this song remind me so many forgotten moments when I was little girl ...

Well that's just too bad. =P Myself, I am amazed at the beauty of the usage of the F word in this song. Thank GOD someone has the guts to play the real version!
Oh yeah! Heard this so many times and still love it.

This is clearly a modern musical masterpiece. Naysayers must be exclusively classic-rock over-the-air radio station listeners.
My highest Radiohead rating yet - a whopping 3.

The accoustic version has a more subtle appeal with the except of some minor 'high-note' reaching on Mr. York's part.

Off topic, but I feel sorry you feel Vai is not a musician... There are plenty of technically skilled soulless guitarists out there, but Vai is definitely not one of them.
Okay, point well made. I'll have to check him out. 'Technically skilled soulless guitarists' (and the criticism of great musicians who don't have text-book technique) is exactly what I was getting at.

I play piano, not guitar. To my ears, it sounds appropriate for the style of grunge that I'm familiar with. Criticizing it for being poorly played ignores what a well-written song it is. I give it a 9 for a beautiful melody and the honest lyrics.
I had to give it a 1 simply because I haven't heard such lousy guitar playing since the last Green Day song.

I have the album, but IMHO this song sticks out so high above the other songs on it, that you'd still not reach the same level if you'd stack them all up.
of all the songs in the world, i wish i coulda written this one...like a jacket broken in just right...ahhh...thank you...jonny greenwood is one of the best musicians in the history of the world...

True story:
I wasn't there, but a friend who went to a Mass at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia (a university in the Jesuit Tradition) told me that there was a bit of an uproar after a priest used a CD player to play "Creep" by Radiohead during a mass . . .

great tune

He sure did-love this version, never ever hear it on regular radio. Thanks RP!
Radiohead have revealed little details about the new album to be released in 2006. I have written a couple of articles, including an mp3 of "Arpeggi" and video link for "House of Cards."

I like this song, but doesn't the bridge sound like Bread's cover of "The Air that I Breathe"? I think there was another song in the 70s that also sounded like this. If anyone thinks of it, please let me know!
In fact I posted that it reminded me of Air that I Breath, before I read your comment! (Deleted it again). It's the part when he uses falsetto and sings:
She's running out again
She's running out
She runs runs runs
I was thinking of the Hollies' version of Air that I Breathe.
Sweet! :) (did he just say the "f" word? )
Rock on!

Was the first one I bought by them, and remains in rotation probably more than any other album of the same period (well, of those I own, of course). Excellent stuff.

Just popping in to thank you for playing this instead of the Pretenders\' horrid cover of it.
Oh, and to thank you for playing a great song.

I don't care if RP plays the song or not, tho, because when it comes on I want to turn it up full volume but sadly, I can't, so I'm just frustrated. But overplayed? Go on.

As Nirvanas most popular song is and always will be, "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Creep" will and always will be Radioheads most popular song. This was the point of their remark.

But still one of my fave rock tunes of all time.

I beg to differ, "Teen Spirit" is anything but an average song. Because the masses turned its head towards a band doing their own thing doesn't diminish the songs impact.
Great tune. I love the \"mistake\" guitar intro (it was the guitarist dropping the guitar). How about \"High and Dry\"? I don\'t hear that too much... :D

Self-deprecating, self-depravating, what the hell! This is from the first Radiohead album ,when they were shy Oxford boys, and they went on to prove they were neither. Marvellous stuff from Middle England (next to Middle Earth if you didn't know). Ngoziman says 'play on!'

My edit was to fix my incorrect initial spelling of the word. what a killer guitar sound

OK, OK, OK...enough already! I love Radiohead and I still like this song, but it seems to be in \"heavy rotation!\" How about some other songs from Honey & the Bends? These guys have such a wide range of material, it would be nice to hear a more diverse set of tunes from these lads.
Please. :D
If a band disowns a song (such as Jonathan Richman and \"Roadrunner\" or Radiohead and \"Creep\"), it\'s because they\'re not ready for their high water mark to come so early in their career.
I give this a 10.
depressing like the cure
Probably the worst song in all of Radiohead\'s catalog. Still gets a seven, so you can imagine how much I like Radiohead!
Good song...Good Band...Please keep it coming. :p
