Usually not a fan of songs with vocals but not words but this is straight up catchy and enjoy it every times it plays (might tire after 100 in row mind you, but work in IT and know @#$3 happens)
I like it, but then I like a really diverse range of music and have no problem when a these songs make an appearance on the main mix, as well as the global mix.
Definitely not my cup of tea played once or 100 times
What kind of person is victimized by a song repeating on a free music streaming service?

BillG, can you please play this 3-4 times in a row...just for old times sake? I was there on December 4, 2018 and remember.

No doubt! Even though, according to the post, it isn't even words, as much as just vocalizations, it still has a catchy cool beat and, it just plain ole, sounds really good! I actually went from 8>9! Would love to have Bill & co. actually put another track of theirs into the rotation, just to hear what else they do!

Here's the deal: back in December 2018 we had an overnight server glitch that caused this song to be repeated for several hours. That generated a LOT of postings, both in our forum & in the song comments.
We addressed the issue in our forum -- and those posts remain up. However, song comments are intended for discussions about the songs & artists, not repetitive complaints about a server glitch that -- by the time most people read the comments -- is long gone & forgotten.
So rather than subject everyone who looks here for the expected content -- a discussion of the song -- to something entirely unrelated & (to them) irrelevant, we deleted all of those posts.
Hope that makes sense to you.
I remember that! I was out on a long peddle with the intention quieting my inner squirrel long enough to meditate. 60-odd KMs later, between the beautiful, hypnotic melody and hum of the tires, I eventually got to where I needed to be.
The playlist, as random as it seems, always meets me where, and, has gotten me through some darker days.
My wife and I have a great appreciation for the amazing service you and the missus put out. The grandkids do as well 😃

I have to disagree with BillG.... We shall never forget!

Good lord, this is terrible. And it’s an especially jarring and unpleasant segue from a beautiful piece by Elbow.
I wonder if the server glitch situation from December 2018 had an impact on the rating for this tune?

It was also funny that we'd be chatting across continents, on different time zones, to discuss what was going on.

Ekova was a French-based trio, headed by American-born Dierdre Dubois, who originated the name. "Its roots are in echo, and ova, signifying the feminine side," she explains. "But it's not supposed to have a literal meaning, just a beautiful sound. I wanted a word I'd never heard before." Much of her lyricism shares the linguistic experimentalism/artistry of their name, with utterances floating in between Celtic, English, and Persian at times, as well as influences from Irish and English folk music.

I read they are heavily influenced by the Cocteau Twins. Hence the gibberish. Doesn't bother me.
Note: There is an orange colored remix album with all of their songs from Heaven's Dust remixed by DJs (has a dragonfly on the front). It is FANTASTIC.

I, too, am wondering. I like it anyway, I'd just like to know what it is.

Oh I like it. I really like the singer.

I used to like this. Now I don't. I guess the gibberish has gotten to me.
I love this.
I want to see the dance that goes along with it.

I believe the Beatles did a few Mideast/Indian(sounding) tunes in their reign of rock and roll....listening to the sounds and not thinking of the regions it may have originated makes for quite a rewarding experience...sure beats the crap out of Rap!!!
I find this to be very compelling. I hear her singing "oh momma in September you can take a leap..."
Maybe it's just me and brain full of mondegreens, but I still like this track.

Wonderfully said. There's not much about this song, if anything, to appreciate. I feel like my ears are bleeding after having listened to it.
Too many half tones for me.
