Very bland, put it on fast forward!!!!
Malkmus is terriffic! I love this line:
"carion - is what we all become"
"carion - is what we all become"
This whole tune is out of key.
Like it!
Try out Stephan's "Pirate" song once in awhile. I love it!

Love the guitar playing by Malkmus on this one.

Sounds like he hit the wrong note... unless... it was deliberate ? oooo!
As someone commented in another Malkmus tune on RP, the cool thing about him is the feeling that he could careen off into chaos at any time. Definitely the feel with Pavement, and in little bits with the relatively unproduced stuff he's done for his solo work. You want some bad notes? Check out a concert of his, but they do rock!

Egads man!! Do you mean to imply that technology exists that could have allowed that note to be changed if so desired?
Such talk is madness! The heretic must die!
Yes, something without too much polish (that's like the thing you do with wax). Yes something that leaves me a little curious about the margins of the songwriter's consciousness. Is that an echo of personality in the music. Behold, follow that light! IOW good song...

carry on / carrion
So far so good...
Ouch! that last note was painful.
Another artist, new to me, thanks to RP!
Very nice. Let's hear more from this guy.
This song makes my mind feels something good....
Generic.
This song sounds kind of like The Connells from their Weird Food and Devastation album.
The best song from Stephen Malkmus' first solo album, IMO. It sounds like a carry over from the last Pavement album.
BEST SONG EVER!!!!!!!!

I want more Malkmus on here, so I uploaded some tunes, which got plenty of yes votes, but were rejected in the end. :headshake: :verymad:
It happens. But it's still fun seeing all of those yes votes being thrown your way, eh? Malkmus/Pavement = cool.

I miss the Pavement edge. Part of the fun of those songs was the ever-present possibility that the song was about to spin apart. This is a bit too safe.
couldn't have said it better myself... except sometimes the fun was that they were already spinning apart when the song started.
still good to hear some Malkmus, since it doesn't look like RP has any love for Pavement.
love love love love it
