anggun!i love her voice so unique,God she so great, and snow on the sahara still my number one album all of time!
Glad to see Anggun on RP...I've had her CD forever, it seems. Saw her at a Lillith Fair concert a decade or so ago in Charlotte, NC, and she was awesome.
She has such a great voice, and I've looked her up on the web to see that though she hasn't made much of an impact with American audiences, she has since become quite big in France both with singing and modeling. I was glad to see her doing well.
Thanks, Bill!
This song is the musical equivalent of a paint by numbers picture.

I went there and I realized my brain did an end around and was actually thinking Ann Wilson

This song was pretty big on French radio, but I never learned the name of the singer until I heard her unique voice in another song on RP.
But wait....what I\'m hearing right now is in English. The song I know from the radio here was sung in French. Cool!
As soon as the vocals kicked in on this song, something just wasn't right.

Hey, the tecno version of What's Up is pretty sweet.

My thought, too, very much so.
I own this CD, I think it is really good, such a big voice for such a tiny woman.
Ugh. Muzak.
Sounds a little like Heart... \"These Dreams\" or the like...

My thoughts exactly. The voices are very similar. Tiny touches of Annie Lennox as well, at least in the higher registers of her voice.
I still see session on west 57th... makes me wonder if they\'re repeats...
Anyhow, her voice is very pleasant, reminds me of a less annoying Annie Lennox (in her \"Diva\" mode).
I find Anggun to be so beautiful and talented. English isn\'t her native tongue, so I don\'t blame her for the lack of content in the song. She\'s a princess in Indonesia, apparently. Saw her originally on Sessions at West 57th, a great PBS series that seems to have passed away.
