We PREFER the term 'WHITEBREAD'.
As for What's WRONG with 'rap'? Do *NOT* get me started. One might as well ask what is wrong with Eminem(?)/Vanilla Ice?
The impression they give off is one of Gangsta type, woman abusing, homophobes. All the stuff society tells us we're NOT supposed to be.
btw, nickname reminds me of KEB'MO, someone I DO appreciate. He ru-wullls!

Despite it's similarity to 'rap', and the fact that I DON'T KNOW what is being said there...lyrics, anyone?? John the Revelator?
White Devil, what's so wrong with rap?
Not bad --- not good --- just indifferent...Good for work though :whip:
" ' Eyyyyyyy!"
Oh, that was The Fonz.
What does it profit a man... ?
what would it profit a man to say the same repetive thing again and again
Man, I haven't given a sucko-barfo in ages. And I wouldn't give one to this, either--except there doesn't seem to be anything LOWER available!
Yuck.

No, I don't like this. It's irritating. People don't sound at their best when they're just waken up (that's how this sounds in my ears, can't help it ;))
this song wont stop!

Great response to political knuckleheads that want to polute our enjoyment of music with their half baked one track minded "musings".
KEEP YOUR POLITICS OFF MY MUSIC!!!!
ok, it was good for a minute. a minute. now it is old and looooooong.
"outbound alligator"...?

I dunno...it gives my eyes a good workout.
Reminiscent of Moby's "Play"
Ummm, this apparently: https://www.gospeltruth.net/1861OE/610703_profitandloss_pt2.htm

Hee. I thought it was "Southbound alligator".
What would it profit a man to sample the world, but produce "music" with no soul?

Am I the only one who thinks of duh-bya here?

Very well put. I feel the same way. Some of these songs really seem like they capture something profound and have this great aurel envelope as a setting, butthen it turns out that they just found some neat line to use but really have nothing to say. And the rest is just knob twiddling.
Like the sentiment. But, I always feel Im been taken for a ride when I hear these sort of songs, that take a sample, and just repeat it for 5 minutes. Its why a stay away from Fat Boy Slim, or Moby.
It\'s like Air, only without direction and style.
It was iniresting :), then got boring.

Generaly I try not to think of duh-bya ;)
Between 2 thieves refers to Jesus presumably and the much repeated phrase is a direct quote of course.
Matthew 16
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
half pound alligator and lose your soul... I love it
sweet!
Smoooth, Groooovy and Cooool =)
Part chillout, part funk. This is definitely a cool groove. This is the exact type of music I love to hear first on RP. Keep em comin Bill.
Cool groove agreed...
Unfortunately, I started thinking the stream was skipping at a certain point... repetition... repetition... repetition
cool groove. very cool.
