for any Robert Jordan fans out there, I keep thinking that RP plays a LOT of music that could stand n on the soundtrack to accompany The Wheel of Time saga.
This song NAILS IT!
“Sounds of the Aiel Waste” anyone?
Lumin is also a hifi brand specialising in (Very expensive) internet music streamers.
It is very very repetitive and monotonous. A 2 from me.

Thanks for enlightening us to that. That's, like, interesting.
Good tune!
Very smooth and likeable

Maybe it's just not late enough in the day (9a) or early enough for this one? Then again, maybe it's just really boring.

Much more natural sounding then Enigma, and not as contrived, if that makes any sense.
This is something I'd expect to come up in something like the Gladiator soundtrack. It's ok, yet not something I'd overindulge in. :? A six, I say, although I would've put a 5,5 if I could.

Might be good for sunday play.....While still recovering from a hang-over. I think if I played this on a Friday or Saturday night, all my guests would leave early. :p
MY guests would probably stay longer!

Nice to see Lumin has a new recording out. I last heard Sonia Drakulich live fronting Stellamara at a small church in SF, where she was simply mesmerizing. Sonia sings in Bulgarian, Persian, Arabic and other languages. If you get a chance to see her live, don't miss it! Jeff Stott of Lumin was on stage with Stellamara (he and Sonia were the main force behind "Star of the Sea") with an impressive array of acoustic instruments -- they're all great musicians. Hopefully, we'll see more from both bands. Thought I might point out that as opposed to most music in this genre, these people actually sing and play the instruments you are hearing.
Actually, the vocals ae by Irina Mikhalilova, not Sonia Drakulich.

Borrows rather heavily from Dead Can Dance... Still kinda nice
Indeed...heavy influences from DCD. Although I find the vocals not as pleasing as Lisa Gerrard's.

another great \"eclectic intelligent\" selection

Agree with you.

yup. ;) minus the whole top down part, unfortunetly the only way my car would be "top down" would be with a cutting torch.
not bad. not bad at all.
Brilliant again. Just bought the CD

Not bad. Almost is to Dead Can Dance what Travis is to Radiohead (similar, but brighter and inspired, not ripping off). But this is so-so, whereas Travis is very good.
Really catchy. Love that zithery sound.
