Unmistakable sound of Dad's guitar on here (Greg Brown).

Looked up from my work only to discover it wasn't Lucinda! Glad I'm not the only listener to not the similarity!

Yay for the Lucinda influence!
she's lovely....
Do you think she's listened to a little bit of Lucinda Williams? Nice

A stoned goldfish?
Imagine her and her dad opening up for Dylan at a outdoor venue on Hwy 61, in SE Iowa. Mmmmm, maybe near the Des Moines River.

Bit of a Lucinda vibe on this one.
like it very, very much. Sweet voice.
Saw her with her father on the night I got all of my wisdom teeth pulled. The drugs wore off halfway through the show but Greg and Pieta managed to suppress my pain just long enough. The only thing I recall about that night was that I liked it.
I hear the phrasing, or cadence, of her father in this song. Need to make it a point to see her on the next stop through town.
Such a nice, sweet and soft sound...
I love this!

I thought this was Catie Curtis - not a bad thing.
Reminds me of The Be Good Tanyas with more conventional vocals. (No judgment, I love the BGTs, and this is really sweet too.) mr_toad wrote:

This song does what it says on the tin...
Had to check-out the playlist when this song came on; it sounds an awful lot like a new artist out of the Boston area, Eilen Jewell.
Reminds me of Rickie Lee Jones.
very nice!

Hmm.... are you a musician? Yes, I agree with the KISS method.
My first thought was that Lucinda has released something new...wow! More Pieta please
Lovely voice and a lovely melody. Just lovely. 8.

Before her first shot of whiskey and a cig.
Very pleasant listening.

That would be Greg Brown's daughter. What a pretty name. That in the background is Bo Ramsey. Nice pick up.

But that's still OK with me.

That out-of-place pause whenever she sings "You're not... here" is practically Shatner-esque.
Still a solid tune.

Shades of Catie Curtis.
Just what I was thinking. And - coming from me - that's a compliment.
Very cool tune. Relaxing. Greg parented well.
Nice tune...thanks for playing...
Talent seems to run in the family....nice atmospherics...would like to hear some other offerings from her.
saw her live--she's great!
I love bo\'s ramsey in this and other greg stuff.
Nice. Thanks for playing it. I\'m interested in hearing more from this artist.
Shades of Catie Curtis.
A gentle little song with soul and Bo Ramsey\'s (who also plays with papa Greg and Lucinda)guitar is amazing.
It\'s kinda Lucinda Williams-esque...
I like it!
Bit of a Lucinda vibe on this one.
Yeah, I hear it too.
