If I sing a song, will you sing along?
If I sing a song, will you sing along?
If I sing a song, will you sing along?
Should I just keep singing right here by myself?
Badabababadababa....
If I tell you I'm strong, will you play along?
If I tell you I'm strong, will you play along?
If I tell you I'm strong, will you play along?
Will you see I'm as insecure as anybody else? It's like
Badabababadababa....
If I follow along, does it mean I belong?
If I follow along, does it mean I belong?
If I follow along, does it mean I belong?
Or will I keep on feeling different from everybody else?
Bbadabababadababa....
If I sing a song, will you sing along?

I'm a big fan of the 'swish' sounds, ie the BMG playing the air as an instrument!

Maybe it's better if you're visualizing their Vegas act or something.
Man do I hate these pretentious Smurf Mimes!!! No more please!!!

Pwned!

Bet you feel better about it, tho. yuk yuk.
Dave Matthews can make even a Blue Man Group song seem insufferablely precious and mannered. Amazing. DM is talented. But not in a good way.
I just hit the bong ... still hate this song.
Dreck.
As bad as any song ever recorded. Mind bogglingly awful.

Nope. Nothing you can do about it!
Dumb.

If you hit the bong, you'll most likely dig anything!!

There's a vague resemblance; Though Cake's instrumentation sounds richer and more structured to me.
Groovy!
Man... boring stuff.
I sometimes forget that I rather like Dave Matthews. Thanks

LOL, i like the yard stick fling sound also.

yeah - i saw these guys back in the late 70's before they got all big. some dive out in norman, oklahoma , they came on just after Mummenschanz and before Bad Brains - one of those places with the fake brickwall and lame fake graphitti behind the stage .
They were more than just Blue at that time (of course) but i guess they kicked that guy out when his girlfriend started showing up at rehersals with her own songs and a bad smack habit.
Do they still bring their props ? do they still wear rainbow suspenders whilst clobbering watermelons with giant hammers ?
= propmusic

Just got back from Vegas and BMG is still going strong. Very entertaining show, and great music. I saw DMB several years ago and haven't changed my mind about them (positive).
I know they're not for everybody...that's cool. But this is one cool tune either way.
Thanks Bill !! Great tune....

Ok, I will accept this with Dave Matthews only because Blue Man Group is behind it.
I follow, sometimes...
Ahhhh...very nice.....

I must agree with pipes. This is the unknown music I tune in to RP for. Not shit like U2 or overkill like the Beatles. Good work RP!
dude, i'm sure you don't want my advice, but honestly, i think you need to let this u2 obsession go. you're expending too much energy on something you hate. even when you're commenting on a song you LIKE, you're bashing on u2! i dont' think i've ever seen a comment of yours NOT hacking on u2.
anyway.
this is a great song. i like it a lot. blue man group is awesome, and dm on the vocals in this one is a great addition to it.

And yet your highest rated list includes commercial radio staples like Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones and Peter Gabriel.....
There are some of us that like the mixture of the familiar and the unfamiliar.
Maybe you should start your own internet radio station...... you could call it Radio Hypocrite.
I've never heard and of the BMG stuff before...not shabby. Guess Dave made it for me :)

Sorry all you Dave haters, this song is foot tapping great!
Da Buh Buh Bullcrap, this really is terrible, this has no place on any station
Boy, Bill will find any excuse to get more Dave Matthews in the rotation, won't he?
is it true that dave math and blue guys are nascar fans?
Not that there's anything wrong with it.

good song, but there are much better blue man group songs like drumbone which deserve more air time than this.
Deliriously awful
I just wish it were longer!
I really love this song. I just wish anyone but DM was singing it...I can\'t stand the way he makes his voice crack like a boy going through puberty. Having said that, though, I did give it a 9 for coming so close to perfection.

Not even interesting.

Eh....think what you want about Dave Matthews, dislike the music, sure, but to say he is talentless....uh, no. The man is talented...very talented...perhaps a bit boring and unadventurous sometimes, but not talentless by any means. I like most Dave Matthews and dislike some too, I am not a die hard...but give him some credit. And as far as The Blue Men, I haven't seen em, but I hear that they are quite amazing.
I just loved this song when I heard it. I honestly haven\'t heard anything by Blue Man Group until this song. Good song.
Jesus, I hope you get off this Blue Man kick soon, Bill.
Or at least get some more tracks. This has been run into the ground.....
I saw the Blue Man tour in Denver (a definitely different show than their permanent shows in Boston/NY/Chicago/Las Vegas.) In the review in my local paper the day before they said they were shooting to bring back the rock spectacle (like KISS or Pink Floyd.) In my opinion, they did. The show rocked! (Even without Dave Matthews performing this song.)
If you listen, what sounds like record scratching is actually an instrument called an Airpole. They look like fishing rods that are swung around their heads. It\'s quite entertaining to watch them play one.
While this isn\'t my favorite track on the album, it is enjoyable, and the rest of the album is quite good.
Thanks for the Blue Man track, RP!
I\'d be more impressed if I could see them
Great sound and great feel!
Sounds good here.

About these Blue Guys?
I just don\'t get it.

sing by yourself
(pimp) sounds pretty good.
Effin\' awful. Puts the tedium back into redundancy.
Effin\' awesome.
I saw Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds play last Saturday in Boone NC.
He mentioned that he had met the blue men and then made a joke about there being blue men everywhere but they were in makeup. He said we should all make friends with the blue men so they won\'t get rid of us when they take over the world.

I know some just don't like Dave Matthew's voice but personally (IMHO) I think it really lends to the beat and feeling of the song. I like the whole thing! Makes me want to learn to play the drums or just pretend I know how :D
Anybody know about the rest of the CD??Except for the dave matthews part that was a cool song

Don't expect to hear "Singalong", though...that's off BMG's new album, and isn't a part of their Vegas show. (Or the other three, for that matter.) They'll be touring in early Spring, and then for a more extended time in July and August, with the new material.
But you'll enjoy the Vegas show, don't worry. :D
Yes! This song is awesome! Dave + Blue Man = Bliss! :)

yeah, i like it. i don\'t want to, but i do ;)
Love BMG!! Saw them in Chicago. What a performance! Sat in the 3rd row and got pelted by flying Twinkies! Aside from being hilarious, I just am so amazed at the music that can come from PVC pipes (among other things)!
