Reaching over
Life to life
Feeling sugared skin
My poor baby
Kissed him so
Too ashamed to lift his chin
A voice is speaking
He's the prophet
Blinded by the light
A heart is breaking
I can hear it
Dropped when gone beyond my sight
Hey there, Mr. Talk Too Much
What's in store for us now?

I don't know how to speak to you
I don't know how to trust you
I don't know how to live for you
I don't know how to love you
The gentleman who fell before the court

I feel your closeness
Like a shotgun
A chill within my soul
I touch your finger
Know your darkness
Your passion takes its toll
Can't see that this talk is cheap
Let the suffering go

I don't know how to speak to you
I don't know how to trust you
I don't know how to live for you
I don't know how to love you
The gentleman who fell before the court

I think she also sang with Maynard James Keenan in one of his recordings.

There are 2 more you might have missed. Full list on her website.

I worked out what this reminds me of.. Bear with me now... Laurie Anderson during her more accessible moments, Strange Angels era. Anyway, I still like it.

I was just about to suggest the same thing.

And it's windy there...

Funny, for some reason I never noticed there was a snake on that album cover.

Kate Bush?

Wow, she kicks post-apocalyptic zombie butt and sings!!
(But can she do both at the same time?)

I believe it's on the first Puscifer album.  She's also in the documentary about his winery.

I don't know why, especially, but I've always liked this tune.  The CD, too, ain't all that bad though I won't be pounding the table saying how great it is.

For Mila I'd say she's an intelligent woman who parlayed her talents, not the least of which was being an unparalleled beauty, into any number of channels, and didn't do badly in any of them.  Consider she was 19 when she released this, and already had a fair number of artistic things under her belt by that point.

She toured the United States during most of 1994 to promote the album, opening for Toad the Wet Sprocket and Crash Test Dummies,  as well as playing smaller acoustic sets.  And then of course she went on to a notable (mostly Sci Fi) movie career.

I won't quibble with her accomplishments.  She's done far better than most.

Thanks for playing Milla.  Don't often hear this on a radio station of any kind.   I have the album.  Not many people know that she is also a musician.
She'es actually quite the  Renaissance woman.
There are many better songs on the album.  Sadly, she apparently wants to see this album disappear.  I can't see why, I quite like it.

Incredible,  you were able to list my three LEAST favorite artists that get way to much play on here.... no wonder it’s terrible to me....

mayhap you are listening to the wrong stream?

I bought this on CD, way back in the day (at a Blockbuster Music store). It's pretty solid. IIRC, there is a song in Russian at the end of the disc.
"Multipass!"
