It doesn't matter what I want
It doesn't matter what I need
It doesn't matter if I cry
Don't matter if I bleed
You've been on a road
Don't know where it goes or where it leads

It doesn't matter what I want
It doesn't matter what I need
You've made up your mind to go
I won't beg you to stay
You've been in a cage
Throw you to the wind you fly away

It doesn't matter what I want
It doesn't matter what I need
It doesn't matter if I cry
Don't matter if I bleed
Feel the sting of tears
Falling on this face you've loved for years

AK, with or without Union Station, brings joy to my ears.
This is on steady rotation for me.
....beautiful  {#Daisy}
alison krause can be found in "the lord of the rings" where she is the feminine complementary principle to green man tom bombadil,  his beloved lady goldberry.

Growing older seems too often a process of recognizing how little we can control and how much doesn't matter...

It's really only sad when we finally understand this about others...

What an album - wooow!
Terribly sad lyrics, beautiful voice and composition = an outstanding and moving song.
Lovely, serene stuff
Haven't heard this song before, but it's a 10 already. AK's voice just makes me float, serenely, for just a few minutes. Maybe that's the Radio Paradise effect ;-)
Alison Krauss and Union Station...minimum rating 9....

Maybe that's why I so love Alison Krauss—what has to matter?  Sit back and enjoy the beauty of music she gives so freely and elegantly.
This woman's voice is so very soothing... perfect for wrapping your ears with.
Wow she is brill !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly. This song just doesn't matter to me.
Thank You Radio Paradise! {#Cool}

"  "Baby, Now That I've Found You"
is a song written by Tony Macaulay and John MacLeod. Part of the song was written in the same bar of a Soho tavern where Karl Marx was supposed to have written Das Kapital. In 1967, The Foundations released it as their debut single."
