Oh wooo-hooo kaydeeeeeee! very cool piece (sexy wet chick on the beach!)
Wow, she just keeps getting better with age. She has an amazing voice!
Stunning version of a great track.
THIS is why I listen to RP. What a great track. I shall be adding it to my 'get it on with Mrs Poacher' playlist.
Yum.

Not a huge fan, but this woman has an amazing voice.

KD could sing the phone book and it would still sound heavenly.

This IS a cool version of her song that DOES NOT deserve this picture at all. That's just wrong......

Yeah, that seems to be a stylistic choice of hers - I hear it in some songs and then again she can sing clearly with an open throat on others.
I've always loved her voice and, mostly, her ability to place her gift at the service of the song. She never overwhelms like most modern vocalists and neither does she seem uninvolved, something that bothers me about Linda Ronstadt.
I have always found KD's voice to be much too 'nasal' for my liking, despite her impressive range. My favourite of her's is her cover of Lynn Anderson's classic 'Rose Garden'. Just as good as the original - it really rocks.

RP is really doing it for me today.
Club Xanax remix?
According to the PDR, Xanax is an anti-anxiety agent used primarily for short-term relief of mild to moderate anxiety and nervous tension. This sounds more like Valium, as in it makes me sleepy.

I love being able to see what the artists look like here on RP.

This woman could sing John-Jacob-Jingle-Heimer-Schmidt and make it sound good.
But the sun might burn out before she got to the 'Schmidt'.
I'd like this song a lot more if she'd just get on with it, and get it moving.

I don't like all of her stuff, but even the stuff I don't like, you still have to hand it to her...what a voice.

What a set of pipes.
(Ordinarily that would be a launching point for some other off-color remarks, but...hey, it's K.D., y'know?
K.D.'s voice is just soooo smooooov ..... I have never heard this, but it is very good!
I have never heard this before, but I L*O*V*E this version. I'm going to have to download this song and add it to my "FM" (f*ck music) disc.
Yummy!
BTW "Hymns" is a fantastic CD

She has such a great voice. Other than 'Constant Craving', there isn't much that stands out for me though. She's very talented - I just think she needs better material. If anyone doubts her abilities, take a close look at the female back up singers on Roy Orbison's classic Black & White Night DVD. The three "back up" singers were none other than Bonnie Raitt, Jennifer Warnes & K.D..
That is ONE PHENOMENAL concert, and I'm not even a big Orbison fan!
Her voice is just so soothing!
Ick...

The Georgia boy says you should be singing praises for k.d.'s hymns of the 49th parallel, her latest, all Canadian songwriter release. An excellent work. You should check it out.
Wow. This song is caliente!
I loved the original and this is a great remix.
