I like it, though I'm a fan of trippy music. Confess I thought it was a woman singing.

I see I'm in the minority here, but I like it. I enjoy the soft spoken nature of his voice. Very pretty tune.
What can I say, we have taste in music
I thought that this was Sophie Zelmani AGAIN!!!!!
Where? where? hu, hu, walking there, where? WEll, I LIKE it. Sounds like a sweet edge to me.

I always think this guy is a girl.
unnerving ending on this one. eep! it's a six just for stirring such a reaction.

"Falling feels like flying until you hit the ground" ... Yeh. Sure. Well, I suppose with enough drugs onboard... But I suppose if you're walking to Hawaii, the flying gig is relatively simple to produce.
Ever heard of falling in love?
Call me a miserable romantic, but I think it's brilliant
what a boring piece of music
I like !
Wow.
These last 3,
Tom, Shins and S&G are like an early (for me) RP playlist. When I first tuned in, good example of what I heard and enjoyed, Thanks!
8 btw.
This is pathetic.
Wow, I thought this was Anna Ternheim!
This is just a bit overly delicate isn't it?
:propeller.gif: Just when I thought you couldnt get any worse you go and do something like this.......and totally redeem yourself. :propeller.gif:

How ironic.
Yeah, I'm with all the other axes that fell. This band is Cut-Off!

It's months since my comment and I have to add something from my favorite critic, Jay Sherman, "It Stinks!"
Nails on the blackboard !!!!
Make it stop!

Just plain annoying.
what I find more annoying than the song (which is acceptable, I guess) is the use of "2" for "to"...leave that kind of thing to Prince, will you?! or will U...
Just plain annoying.

this is probably one of the geekiest comments i've ever made, but the discordant strings in this song sounds very much like the musical effect used as the "sound of evil" in the Lord of the Rings movies...
Thanks, that's one reason I shrunk away from the computer when I heard that. ;-)
I don't know... the song rolls along in it's sparseness and then it's as if it gets possessed. It's all too much for me to bear and enjoy.
By far and away, not a good afternoon at RP, save for the momentary brilliance of Arthur Lee's Love.
never heard of this guy before..........where did he come from!
like the song though, despite the weird noise!
minus the moise i'd give it an 8!

That's a 10-4. Must be something in the Sac air that causes us both to find this unpalatable to our ears.

Agreed. I take it you have the soundtracks? Thoroughly enjoyable stuff. Here, I think the sound is suggestive of DEEPER things, below the surface, (whales?) In LOTR, the Shadow world where Wraiths exist, also below .
" B-A-G-G-I-N-S..." Nice roll into this from Israel's SOMEWHERE'.
KUTGW.

"The world going down in flames", such apt imagery... Gives me a idea for the next "US Foreign Policy" Protest/Action.
If you really want to be useful, I've got an idea for you: go be a human shield !!! :P That'll fix 'em!!
Masterful Set! WTG Bill! These last 4 have a common thread...
Weave that tapestry!
"Falling feels like flying until you hit the ground" ... Yeh. Sure. Well, I suppose with enough drugs onboard... But I suppose if you're walking to Hawaii, the flying gig is relatively simple to produce.
When the song first started, I thought it was a cover of "Wild Horses"
"The world going down in flames", such apt imagery... Gives me a idea for the next "US Foreign Policy" Protest/Action.
It's prettyish...but it sounds as if Tom is trying to jump on the bandwagon of baby-sounding female singers. I don't like that soft, sappy sound on the girls, and I like it less on this man.
Of course, perhaps he recorded this fifteen years ago, and now someone will jump down my throat for criticising without knowlege...just let me get a drink of water, and I'll be ready for you.

Whales, definitely whales....Blue, I think.
I like that "noise." The beat and closely played guitar set an atmosphere of calm melancholy--while the howling in the background swirls deep within. Its uncannily beautifull.
8) the singer reminds me of Clinic, less nasal...
what is that god-aweful noise in the background?!?
yay, great to see some more McRae on RP 8)
Do not pass up the opportunity to see Tom live, a natural performer who has a wonderful rapport with his audiences
he's currently supporting Rachael Yamagata on her US tour through October
I walked to Hawaii once....I'm not there yet!
