the lyrics to this make me so damn happy. Mostly because it sounds like what happens inside the head of my stupid film-obsessed friend. this is his song. he just doesn't know it yet. it's fluffy, and there are definitely better songs on the album. but it's cute.

Actually - how does one upload music to RP ? I've been wondering. (Or do you upload elsewhere?)
I can't wait for a new album. Great programming and mixture of ... stuff

There's also a third "borf" ~20 secs from the end. Very distracting, though I know Postal Service has placed distracting electro-bumps and beeps in other songs, but I don't think these were intentional. Likely still waiting on a better upload...

I came here to point this out, but you beat me to it. Plus you've introduced me to new lingo - "borfs". I'll keep that in mind. Borf is also the street name of a notorious teenage poser graffiti "artist" here in DC who was busted recently. https://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/borf/
Is it just me, or does this sound like something on Death Cab for Cutie's "Plans"?

I love the album, but always make sure to skip this track. And the one about the Mormons stocking groceries in the basement. Gibbard can be a good songwriter, but sometimes his songwriting seems too trite and formulamatic.
pretty damn cheezee

No.
Get a drum machine and a doorbell and go to town, man.

Maybe it's because you guys have bad taste in music? Just a thought...
If this particular Postal Service song seems a bit light and airy for you, you really should try of their others. Suggest: The District Sleeps Alone Tonight, Brand New Colony Really good stuff.
Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn for this song!
I just love the line: "I want so badly to believe that 'there is truth, that love is real'". great album, by the way.
Great song and a great album! The whole thing is enjoyable not just a few tracks.
When I hear a song like this I have to wonder why so many of my perfectly good uploaded songs have been rejected yet this is on the main channel...
